Hi my name is Beverley and I am the owner and manager of Toto's Parlour, Dog Grooming. I am trained to level 3 standard and previously worked for a well known Pet Supply Store in their Grooming Salon for almost 4 years where I started as a Trainee. Within my first 6 months I was promoted to Groomer and began training other trainees to help them progress to become Groomers. It was not long after th

at I was promoted to Salon Manager where I had my own team to train and manage. I am very passionate about my profession, I believe that it is vital that all of my clients deserve love, care and attention. This is why I offer a home environment and a one to one basis with me and your dog. Grooming can be very stressful for the dog and their owner, so the less you stress the happier your dog will be when it comes to their turn for pampering. I only groom small to medium sized dogs as I am on my own, but if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me! I offer a range of services to accommodate all needs;

Full Groom = Pre cut & prep, bath then a brush out with a coat conditioning spray, shape, style and finish cut to owners preferences. (All Full Grooms Include Ear Plucking & Nail Trim)

Mini Groom = Pre bath brush out and prep, bath & brush out with a coat conditioning spray, feet shaped and toe hair scooped out, back-end trimmed and neatened, a simple face and eye trim as well as a nail trim. (Ear plucking is not included in a Mini Groom)
(Great for in between Full Grooms to help maintain knots and tangles)

Puppy Packages (up 6-7 Months old) = a gentle coat comb out, (depending on the breed), bath and gentle blow dry, around the eyes trimmed (depending on the breed), around the back-end trimmed, feet trimmed and shaped and a nail trim. Bath & Brush = Pre bath brush out, bath and blow dry and nail trim (Ear plucking excluded)

Matted dogs will be charged accordingly depending on how badly the coat is matted. The reason for this is that every time a blade is put through a matted coat the blade will blunt a lot quicker because it has more work to do and it also has to pe*****te any dirt that has accumulated within the coat and matts, so this blade will need to be sent away to be sharpened every time it is used for this method. Any de-matting will add more time to the groom and may result in an extra charge depending on the matts, this can be discussed when you make your appointment and will be assessed before the groom. I will do what is best for your dog and will not put it through any undue stress through the de-matting process because the shorter the length of time your dog is on the table the better it is for them. Conditions;

Please be aware that any allergies or skin conditions must be disclosed to me when making any appointments. I do use highly acclaimed and recommended professional grooming products for dogs and puppies in my parlour, however, some skin conditions may require medicated products, some of which can be provided by your vet and I will ensure to use these if you bring them along with you. All or any medical conditions must be disclosed to me when making an appointment. All puppies must have their two injections at least two weeks before they are groomed. You must disclose to me at the time of booking if your dog has ever been or is likely to be aggressive. I pride myself on my experience of working with animals, so I do not believe in muzzling any dog! If there is any sign of serious aggression where an injury may occur the dog will be sent home and payment will still be required. In these circumstances it is better and less stressful for the dog to be groomed under sedation and supervised by your own vet. If you do not have a vet you can contact me I can recommend a very reliable and reasonable local vet. So if you're looking for a caring and dedicated Dog Groomer that you know you can trust to do what is best for your doggie, in a style you would prefer and that is local and reasonably priced then try going over the rainbow to Toto's Parlour, "where doggie dreams really do come true"!!!

Auntie Beverley is extremely saddened to hear that our little Penny has gone to rainbow bridge yesterday 💔
Such a gentle soul and was always happy to see me every time when she visited the salon. We had many cuddles and kisses and I will miss those beautiful big eyes and that wagging tail while I sang Penny lane to her 😞

My love and thoughts are with mummy Annette as I know you will miss her so much! 💜

When your job comes with such heartache 😔
It’s taking me a little longer today to put this up and it very much saddens me to say that my little Misty Moo went to Rainbow Bridge tonight 💔.
Heartbroken is an understatement for me as I’ve had the pleasure of this girl for 14 years, but you have gone to be with your brother Harvey now 🐾. Thank you for all the love and all the hugs, I will Miss You Greatly and remember you so fondly 💖

Auntie Beverley is very saddened again, to learn that our wee Coby has gone to Rainbow Bridge today 😢.
Coby has been visiting the salon for many years and everyone always knew when he was there 🩵. I know he loved me really and he was an absolutely brilliant wee character to groom and to know. I will miss him A Lot! 😔

My love and thoughts are with his daddy David, mummy Joanne and his human sister Megan at this very sad time 💔. Thank you So much for sharing your boy with me for all these years x

Auntie Beverley is very saddened to share the news that our little Gizmo has went to Rainbow Bridge today 😔
I’m absolutely heartbroken as Gizmo was always a darling to have in the salon and to groom 💔. My fond memories will always be off us singing and talking to each other (‘Whooo Whooo Whooo’) 🐾. Thank you for all the laughs and all the kisses my wee gentleman 😚

I am very saddened to hear that our wee Ozzy man suddenly went to Rainbow bridge today 😔. Still trying to take it in as I only seen him recently and he was in his normal brilliant form. I’m very saddened to hear that our wee Snowy has gone, very peacefully, to rainbow bridge yesterday 😔.
What a character you were and always shouting the street down when entering the salon, just to let everyone know that you were getting your pampering 🩵.
Auntie Beverley will miss you very much and the cage will seem so empty now with only one of your siblings in it 💔.
My thoughts and love go out to Phil, Lara and the kids who I know are missing him terribly! 😢

My heart has no words today as my wee hubby Alfie has gone to rainbow bridge 💔💔💔. Alfie was one of the first dogs I ever groomed on my own & we have been through so much together, hence a massive bond between us 😔. All I can say is, I will see you at the bridge wee man and THANK YOU for always being such a gentleman, wifey Beverley is just heartbroken as you were so special to me 😢.

A little information about puppy grooming 🐶👍💕. This girl has nailed it 😉

There are a number of breeds/crossbreeds that will require regular trips to the groomer. For some every 6 weeks is haircut day!

We need to make the experience for them as pleasant as possible, some dogs love their salon days, others are not so keen.

To make their experience better start them young! Under 6 months is ideal before their weariness/anxiety kicks in.

Leaving it too long can result in a matted coat. This would make them feel extremely uncomfortable and make the first groom experience a more intense and possibly uncomfortable one. So again, start them young!

By starting them young you can also learn from your groomer how to maintain your dogs coat in between grooms.
