Heel work. I think my favourite thing about this clip is the jostling for prime leg space 😂

Heel work 🖤
Same expectation. On, or off the lead.
Enriching these dogs lives on a daily basis is just heaven.
Forever grateful to be entrusted with their development.
I get it. This reel doesn’t look fancy. It’s not supposed to. Its steadiness.
Setting the dogs up for success around social situations is something I take very seriously. We practise it all the time.
Safety for everyone is paramount, which is why we create space & allow people/dogs to pass without conflict.
Seeing these dogs enjoy their walk is one of the most satisfying things on this planet! By putting the hard yards in with your dogs early you’ll ensure yourselves a lifetime of rewards. Try to fake it by skipping steps and you’ll spend the rest of their life patching it up.
Your heart stopped beating, but ours will beat for you forever.
13 weeks without you 🖤
Absolutely HATES her raw food diet…. 🙄
Hattie came to me for a little upgrade. Things on the list to improve were recall & heel work. We got straight to work! Just over two weeks later and she’s all set. Hattie now has a strong heel position (on and off lead) and her recall is smashing! Well done Hattie!
Truly blessed to have had you in our lives.
You fought until the very end. You’ll never be forgotten. Sleep tight. Our best girl. 🖤
This post may come across as a broken record and will undoubtably divide opinions, but the facts of this situation are it will never be acceptable to allow your dog off lead if you do not have control. In fact, it’s against the law. I recently experienced a situation that didn’t end particularly well, and could have been avoided if the handler of the dog who rushed my dog and used her back as a spring board (several times!) had control and had a reliable recall. I was with my dog enjoying our walk & minding our own business when she was rudely knocked off her feet, jumped on numerous times (all the while I was trying to get her up and bat this dog away) to the point of her yelping in pain and struggling to get back on her feet. She isn’t a soft dog and for her to yelp meant she was hurt. Due to the injuries caused she was left lame on her left side and was in so much pain and distress she had to be sedated that day. I’d like to say this sort of thing doesn’t happen often. Sadly it happens all too often & not just to me. Despite my best efforts to avoid busy times of the day, dog parks and popular walking routes. I stick to rural areas, yet this still happens. Some might think this post is over the top, and I imagine this is where I will split opinions on this matter. I’m not usually one to take to social media and moan (I’d much rather be posting positive content!) I try and rise above it all. That said, this has made me even more determined to work harder, better my skills and help those who reach out and want to do right by their dog.
Let’s celebrate the new year with a success story.
It’s been a pleasure being part of Lola’s journey. Lola joined the pack walk programme in the summer of 2022. She joined with an inconsistent recall, heel work, and a lack of confidence. With that in mind we got to work straight away!
Her owners have put in a huge amount of work and trust within the process, and after months of practise Lola and her owners can now reap those rewards. Her new found freedom is down to the appropriate use of an E-Collar. Teach it correctly and it will unlock yours & your dogs world!
It’s always such a buzz seeing dogs enjoy their freedom safely! Lola will remain on the pack walks whereby her training will be maintained ⭐️
Here’s to many more success stories in 2023!
Merry Christmas folks! What a year 2022 has been.
It simply wouldn’t happen without the amazing support from all of my clients. Thank you xx
Practise makes progressFood luring is a great way to build drive, engagement & motivation within your dog during training. Get your dogs body moving, use those mechanics they were bred for. Have fun with it and set yourselves a goal to work towards. You’ll surprise yourselves! 💫
Working on Lola’s luring. We’re both enjoying a bit of gentle fun whilst she enjoys her food. It’s important for our dogs to understand how their body moves. It’s helps to build confidence, spacial awareness and works those muscles 💪🏻
Taking the lead!
No lead pulling here!
We LOVE to work on our loose lead walking.
If you are finding that you’re struggling with your dog pulling on the lead. Give us a shout! We would be more than happy to help with that!
