Sharp Edge is a newly formed family business on the East Yorkshire North Yorkshire border,
We are based on the wolds and are fortunate to wake up every morning overlooking beautiful views of the yorkshie countryside,

Having a car accident changed our family life forever, as I was unable to continue my profession in the building industry which left me looking for an alternative carear after much

deliberation myself and my wife decided on creating Sharp Edge it seemed to be a job that was created for us rather then us creating Sharp Edge , After growing up with a dog grooming mum who also has show dogs and horse's and marrying my wife who worked for a showjumper, who's mum is a barber/hairdresser who also had show dogs and horses and has a dog grooming sister it just seemed to be a logical step to train as a sharpener,

After doing my training and puchasing some of the best equipment and machines that the United Kingdom and the United States of America has to offer ,
I began practising , practising until I was sharpening to a professional standard that I know my customer's will be more than happy with,
