** Price increase **

Please note that from 1st April, there will be a small increase in grooms.

Those that have teeth cleaning, the price will remain the same.

If you have any queries, please feel free to contact me and we can discuss a longer grooming schedule with a shorter length to the coat to help accommodate this price increase.

Salt gritters

Just a reminder that if you road walk your dogs, wash their paws after the walk. With this cold snap, I noticed today that the paths on the main roads has salt on them, guessing when the gritters are out it also reaches the paths.

These aren’t the best treats to give your dogs, please be aware

No rawhide this Christmas! Or EVER! It is a deadly, awful chew to give to your dog. Please don't.

Take care of your pets this Christmas!

Please be careful if you have this plant.
30/11/2023

Please be careful if you have this plant.

We have been notified that a poisonous plant is being used as decoration in a pot plant that can be purchased in garden centres and possibly florists.

The pot plant is Livistona rotundifolia (footstool palm; also known as Saribus rotundifolius) and pots of these plants are decorated with three fibrous balls. The balls are the skeletonised fruit of Cerbera odollam (su***de tree, pong-pong). Within each fruit is a kernel that is extremely toxic; a single kernel can be fatal if eaten and poses a risk to both pets and people. The toxic compounds in Cerbera odollam are cardiac glycosides, which are also found in foxglove, oleander, lily of the valley and other plants.

If you have these fibrous fruits in your pot plant, remove them and dispose of them safely. It you are worried your pet may have eaten the plant material contact Animal PoisonLine (01202 509 000)or your vet immediately.

Price increase 1st April

Unfortunately due to rising costs of business expenses there will be an increase to my grooming prices this year. I managed to hold off any increase last year, but sadly I can’t do the same for this year. If you have any queries, please feel free to contact me and we can discuss a longer grooming schedule and maybe a shorter length to the coat to help accommodate this price increase.

Many thanks for understanding, Tash x

Wishing you all a merry Christmas and a big shout out to you all for the continued support over this past year. Again, I’m blown away by the generosity of you all for the gifts and tips that I have received in what has been a difficult year for many.

I am now closed and will reopen on the 9th January 2023.

I look forward to seeing you all next year and I’ve attached a picture of the trio who welcome you all with their barking!!

With autumn here make sure on your daily walks your dog doesn't play or eat acorns. Acorns are poisonous to dogs and can block their stomach. Find out more at thekennelclub.org.uk/acorns.

The Cockapoo, according to a national television program of the Top 100 favourite dog breeds, came number One. Their coat, however, is prone to matting - especially around the neck. We identify the ideal collar for your Cockapoo to minimise knots forming and help ensure good skin and coat welfare.

Hi, please note that the a/c unit is on and I’m keeping your dogs as cool as possible in the heat. There could also be areas of your dogs that are sent home still damp (dogs hate their heads being dried!) be assured these areas will dry quickly when they get home and better than making them uncomfortable during the groom process. ❤️
