The reason I do what I do! 😁🐕🐶 Miller was a highly reactive dog and unfortunately, due to having diagnosed hip dysplasia, he hadn’t experienced any off lead interaction or socialisation, even as a puppy. He therefore had no recall and didn't really know how to be a dog. Miller’s owner kept him on lead through fear of what he might do as he showed nervous and aggressive behaviours towards other dogs on every walk. I worked with Miller and his owner and developed a personalised training plan that would work for their specific needs. With a little hard work and consistency from his owner who followed the training plan, he is now off lead for the first time and is loving life - Miller is a happy, healthy and well behaved dog ☺️

The calm after the storm!!!

These two used to bark, lunge, pull and sometimes even nip their owners when they saw another dog out of frustration and excitement. They never walked to heel and would pull their owner along.

After being told previously by a different trainer that their dogs would always behave this way and could never be changed, their owner got in touch.

This dog owner has stuck to the training plan and really put the effort in to get them this far. Still a little way to go with close up meetings but I had to share the progress to date 😁

I was lucky enough to head out on this little cuties first walk with her owners. They wanted advice on how to get her used to the big wide world. We also discussed toilet training, nipping and diet.

Those of you that have met Barney will know he's full of life and has the energy to out do most! He's still a young dog so can easily get excited when we visit new places and people. That's why I am always working on his settle command - keeping him calm and relaxed no matter what environment he is in. When I take him to busy pubs and cafes with lots of food and people, the park with many dogs and children, or a busy town centre shopping, It's important to me that he can settle down when I ask him to no matter what is going on around him.

1 - 1 PUPPY TRAINING

This little cutie was being a bit of a rascal for his new owners so they got in touch for a 1 - 1 session. With the information and knowledge I provided, and the training plan I put in place specifically for this pup, his owners should have him on the right track within a week or two.

Barney loves a challenge when we get a bit of spare time.

It's important that Barney can follow my instructions as he helps me around dogs that are still learning. Here you can see him wait in the down position until my whistle. He even ignores a barking dog in one of the near by gardens.

This big lad couldn't be on the same street as another dog without barking, lunging, pulling his owner and jumping around! He didn't walk to heel and thought he was incharge.

His owner is really putting the homework in with him and it's starting to show! As you can see he can happily walk past another dog now and is starting to pay attention to his mum. Still some work to do but he's already come a long way. 😁🐕
