Pawz and Clawz is a well established Midlothian business with 7 years of providing a reliable service to customers and their 4 legged friends. We offer 2 walks per day usually one AM and one PM. Dogs are picked up and dropped off with an hour of fun in between. We use an enclosed, safe and fun filled field where dogs can run and play together. Balls, toys and drinking water always available, along with a paddling pool in the hotter months.
Walks are priced at £15 per walk or £25 for 2 walks on the same day. Please note we do not provide overnight stays or full day care. We are fully insured and first aid trained.
Some very rare spaces have become available due to customers moving outwith the area.

July/August - Over the next few weeks we have a variety of dogs off/on holiday so pick up/drop off times may be earlier than normal, especially for the PM walks. Don't worry your dogs will still get their full walks, but with fewer dogs to collect we will be earlier.

It's another horrendous day....please expect wet and muddy dogs on our return. Walks will be running slightly sharp today (earlier not shorter walks)- your understanding is appreciated....I just want to get out of the rain too!!

Please remember you need to notify me a full 7 days in advance of any changes or cancellations - if you don't, you will be charged your normal weekly fee in full (this includes illness/injury to animals), I'm a small business and the impact of people cancelling last minute for various reasons has cost me in excess of £350 in the last few weeks....I've let it go for a variety of reasons but sadly I cannot continue to do this. Please also note bi***es in season cannot walk with us for at least 3 weeks, you will also be charged in full for this cancellation at all times.

I'm a small business, this is my ONLY source of income - if you fail to pay, I'm unable to meet my personal financial demands. It is having an impact, please be considerate.

Morning All....its Still blowing hard out there, walks will be attempted but any sign of danger and I will be calling it in early. As always safety first, at all times.
Please, if you have dog jackets, leave them out and I will keep in touch.

Please note pick up times will be slightly later for some and earlier for others due to a personal errand.

Has to be the worst start to a year EVER...who knows what tomorrow morning will bring!!! I dread to even imagine!!
If there are any issues/updates I will be in touch at the earliest opportunity!!
It's never my preferred option to halt services but again, this type of disruption is completely outwith anything I can control. I never take these decisions lightly, it has a huge impact on me personally, however I will not risk walks if its dangerous.

UPDATES HAVE BEEN ISSUED TO ALL OF TODAYS CLIENTS 22ND JAN 2024. Storm Isha has been anything but timid overnight and looks like the wind will be with us for some time.

Evening all, as you will all be aware there has been several weather warnings issued from the metoffice....we will be playing the next couple of days by ear, I won't put dogs, humans or vehicles at any risk for the sake of a walk!!

I will update on the usual channels if things change and become too dangerous. The field is surrounded by trees and it may pose too much of a danger if branches are coming down.

Fingers crossed that Isha, is a timid wee beastie and her barks worse than her bite.

Reminder that all monthly fees are due by the end of this week, any not paid will incur a late payment fee of £5 per day.

Weekly payments should be paid before 5pm each Friday. Again any late payments will incur a £5 per day charge.

Please remember fees have increased as of today and this should be taken into account.

Hi All, a reminder that fees should be paid monthly or as agreed individually!! I've had to send a lot of reminders recently due to missing payments. I'm a small business and the business is my sole income. If you don't pay me it has a massive knock on affect on my personal finances.

Weekly payments are due by 5pm that Friday and monthly payments are due on or around 01st of every month but no later than 05th of every month. I will be applying late payment fees of £5 per day going forward.
