This beautiful boy has been missing from the Gilstead Lane area of Bingley since Wed 14th Aug and his owners are very worried as he need regular medication. Please check your sheds and garages to make sure he has not sneaked in there for a nosey. Give us a call if you have any info to his whereabouts. He has very distinctive facial markings.

Look at this handsome young man ❤️ He's been hanging around Draughton Street area of BD5 for a few days now. He's extremely friendly, but unfortunately no collar or microchip. Give us a call with any info. Proof of ownership will be required.

We now require 48 HOURS NOTICE (working) for any physical or written prescriptions. This applies to flea/wormer requests too. This is due to increasing demand, time for dispensing and checks to be made and ensuring we have sufficient stock to supply. Please ensure that you allow plenty of time before your pet's medication runs out. Thanks for your co-operation.

🚨 Scam Alert 🚨

We want to alert our clients about a scam targeting pet owners. Scammers are posing as veterinary practices and calling owners of missing pets, claiming the pet is injured and needs urgent treatment. They ask for payment over the phone.

❗ Important:
• Do not give your details to anyone who calls you.
• Tell them you will call back.
• Look up the veterinary practice number online and call them directly.

Stay vigilant and protect your information. If in doubt, always contact us directly on 01274 510868 to verify.

We have a large volume of towels and bedding/blankets all in good condition if there are any rescues that would like them free. We have roughly 4 bin bags of bedding and 3 bin bags of towels, all clean and ready to use. Collection from Saltaire/Shipley. DM if interested.

We are just blown away by the messages of love and gratitude shown by our clients recently. The closure of Shipley/Saltaire has meant that not all of our clients will be able to join us at Bingley due to various reasons. We will miss you all, love from all the Avenue Vets Team - Shipley.

This is what can happen if you let your dog chew/play with sticks. Unfortunately this young dachshund wouldn't let us look in her mouth initially, so needed a full anaesthetic to examine and remove this stick firmly wedged between the back teeth. She was very lucky that further damage wasn't done. She is now recovering well and much more comfortable.
