This evening we had to say goodbye to Gatsby 😢

Because he still couldn’t get up by himself the vets X-rayed his hocks and knees, his premature bones weren’t formed enough to take his weight as he grew.

Another long night and vet visit. Learned how to do the Madagan Foal Sqeeze. Gatsby is still fighting ♥️

Been a very long night sleeping in the stable. Greta is doing really well and becoming a normal cheeky foal. Gatsby very slowly making progress, he is a fighter so, while he is willing, I will fight with him ♥️ definitely not out of the wood yet, long road ahead.
