Thank you to everyone who donated some bits for the animals of Ukraine, I managed to get lots together!! My car was full, all dropped off and on its way!

O my heart, lots of donations for the animals of Ukraine have turned up today, but this one was just so cute. Little Lexi and her lovely mummy went and got some bits and Lexi even used her own pocket money to help. Thank you Lexi, what a lovely girl you are! xx

To all my amazing animal loving clients, I am doing a collection for the pets/animals currently in the heartbreaking situation in Ukraine.
I am donating food, coats, collars, blankets, towels anything at all which can help.
These poor innocent people are struggling enough, so if we have any dog coats we are not using or anything which can help please can you drop off at mine before Monday.
Just like the humans the animals deserve the help too.

So well said The unfortunate truth of owning and running a business.

Running a business is really hard.

What they don’t tell you is that it can cause severe stress and anxiety, and drains you mentally to the point of depression in even the most laid back people.

People will talk about you, compare you to others, use you, they will view you as a service and not a person anymore.

You have to worry about if you forget to email/message someone back, are they going to think it was on purpose? Did you disappoint them? Will they hold that against you? When in reality you just can’t get to everyone’s messages and emails.

Starting up and running a successful business puts incredible strain on personal lives and relationships, many of which fail because there is just often no work life balance. You need to be the director, the worker, the admin, the marketing team, the accountant, the cleaner..... All whilst being a parent, a husband or a wife, family support, friend... it’s one of the hardest things you will try and balance

There’s a reason you don’t see many people succeed in small businesses after 5 years. If they are successful they are overwhelmed. It takes a toll. It’s freaking exhausting. Especially the past couple of years when so much has been out of our control.

Here’s a small reminder that we are just normal people with hectic lives. Be kind, be patient, support small businesses…….and hopefully more of us will stick around!

To all my amazing customers…
As of 1st April 2022 I am going to have to increase my prices by 15%.
With the rising costs of utility bills due to hit us all soon I have no choice but to do this.
I am a small business so without the increase I will be massively affected.
What can you expect from the increase in price? Well the same safe, fun, and trustworthy groomer you always had. Plus I have invested in a brand new finishing dryer which gives the coats an even better finish then before, and in the summer I will be extending and modernising the groom room. Making it more spacious, comfortable and relaxing for the furbabies, it will include a play and sensory area.

I can’t thank you enough, especially my regulars who book every 6 weeks without fail and trust me with your babies.
