When people sell ponies they all generally say keep me updated or let us know how you're getting on. I genuinely mean it. I regularly hear off a good 90% of horses I have sold/broke whether I owned them or on behalf of someone else. And this has no timeframe... I sold this lovely cob mare to the absolute best home 7years ago (how time flies!) and still regularly hear how well they are all doing together. This mare is the most versatile pony and is out and about regularly and SUCCESSFULLY across the disciplines. Another trail blazer qualification to add to her ever expanding CV. Keep smashing it Molly and Mary πŸ’ͺ
Thank you for the updates and support Vicky πŸ’•

As always we have our foot on the gas and been really busy with breakers and the children on their ponies. While I have a minute I just wanted to share how our latest few horses we had in are doing in their new homes. I have had some lovely updates this week from Wilson, Daisy and Queenie and they're all doing so well and really settled with their new owners. I love having updates and seeing what they're all getting up to πŸ₯°

We have started a waiting list 🀯
Officially chocker block right now even with extra evenings purely through word of mouth and recommendations which is fab. I had kept telling myself to give it 12months atleast as starting out is always hard but I'm so grateful for how this has taken off and I have/had some lovely horses and owners. I'm lucky to have my amazing little team around me to make it all possible and we are guns blazing week after week to do the best job and fit everyone in as best we can. We have no breaking space now until atleast the start of September. Thank you, we are so grateful for the support πŸ’•

It has been a super busy last few weeks. Mainly focusing on the younger riders with their horses/ponies which I do think in these cases have to take priority. This post I'm so pleased to share. I've been working the last few weeks with my smallest ride (I am aware I am far too tall before anyone jumps at me, but I wouldn't challenge any child to sit what he had to start with) we didn't actually get any footage of our first session so these are the milder versions. This little ones first pony is now behaving more like a first pony. I had the pleasure of going with them to their first show together today and they smashed it winning their class. Went to meet beautiful Loki today πŸ–€
This mare is super reactive when out and about, whilst being a big chunk she is also green with her schooling which is making her difficult for her owner to pull up when she is startled. Working on softening her up from hanging on that one reign and working forward from the leg, that should make her a bit more rideable when out getting those miles on her clock to realise things aren't so scary. She is so super sweet and I can't wait to see the progression!

It is so much harder for them when they're bigger πŸ¦–
Rode these 2 today, both at different stages but both working on moving away from the leg and finding their own balance, both very substantial sizes too.

πŸ–€πŸ€ Leia will always be one of my favourites, she tries her absolute hardest for me. She hasn't done much canter work in general, favours that right reign and clings to the wall. Working on increasing her confidence and using that leg to help stand her up. You can see her rush and run through those corners to start and then start to settle in

🀎 Second session on Big Lad and what a step forward, zero temper tantrums and got straight into it. Massive improvement and picked up better than we left off, can't ask for any more than that!

Today we had a quick trip out with Lulu and Mary to get back into things. Lulu (coloured) has been out of work for 7months and had mainly driven in her previous home. She got back into the swing of things really well and an absolute star out on the road
And beautiful Mary's second time back in the school having been off for 3years. She picked up where we left off and improving moving off the leg and softening in the hand. Success πŸŽ‰ but I really am over muddy ponies now!

Big Lad 😍
Went to meet all 17.3 of him today and what a lovely boy!
He's only a baby so nice and steady but lots to work on moving him off the leg and getting his balance

Experienced sympathetic, lightweight (but tall) rider based West midlands area. I am now in the position to be able to offer this on a wider scale.
Over 13years experience breaking and restarting youngsters. My aim is to give these young/green horses the best start under saddle to go on to have the best ridden life. Projects or horses with ridden issues/quirks also welcome. Again the aim is to problem solve and find the cause rather than a quick fix. Building the essential solid foundation for their ridden career. As long as distance and facilities allow I would prefer to do this as freelance at your own yard, that way you can see the progress, be involved and less upheaval to your horse. I find it is important to ensure your horse meets your needs, it's one thing me getting your horse going but ultimately they are for you. I try my best to ensure your horse is rideable and going the way you need and that you're happy on them. I understand it can be daunting using someone else to start/ride your horse, especially with some of the horror stories you read. But ask as many questions as you need, I have plenty of videos and can get references.
Offering breaking, schooling/reschooling and groundwork on all types
