So back from our camping holiday/agility competition. Woody came back with lots of rosettes, 2 1st place, a 3rd and 4th 😍 he was just amazing 😁

Handsome Apollo loves a 5 minute play with our pack before his bath 😁 at nearly a year old he’s been here many times which has made him a gent for his groom, which is super important due to his size 😄 and wow he made it snow in the salon with the amount of hair he had ready to come out 🙈☀️

Summer has finally arrived ☀️
Katie and I are really busy so book ahead!
Super thankful for the air con so the salon is lovely and cool, so not hot dogs or groomers 😆

Here’s Barnaby, he first came to me not loving the whole grooming process and being banned from other groomers, however this week when he came in for his 3rd time with me, he was super chilled, no muzzle, and a general star for his whole groom ⭐️ and isn’t he cute 🥰

Pretty girl Rubie came in for her first pamper, she had a lot of hair as you can see 😄 even more in the bath! Using a good decent shampoo, a scrub in the bath and the correct tools helps do the job properly. She was such a good girl, gold 🌟

Hey everyone 👋

With our 1 year anniversary in our new salon, we have made some treat bags for your doggies to celebrate, these will be available from tomorrow and we will carry them on for the rest of this month 🥳 these are for our regular clients and new ones so please pop in to see us. We have also put some offers in some of the bags, so pick carefully to grab a discount or even a freebie 😀
All treats are from The Pet Pantry so all tasty natural goodies.

Our pack haven’t been best pleased that they weren’t allowed any of the treats 😅 but they will get any left overs. Here they are a few weekends ago when Remi and reeva came over for the day 😇💜

Katie and I had a very Beautiful Belgian Shepherd in today for his first professional groom 🥰
He had some compact bits of hair in places but with 2 groomers working together one was able to brush while the other gave cuddles and reassurance which helped massively 😍

Little Dash Dog, you may remember me posting cute photos of his puppy introduction couple of months ago.
Well today he came in for his first grown up groom 🤩 he was so relaxed he was falling asleep while I was grooming him 😍 such a beautiful boy inside and out xx

WoodPecker Parlour is finished for 2023, what another fabulous year it’s been, lots of new things too. Working with Amy and Katie in a beautiful new salon 😍 and of course Little Henry and Remi too, it’s been so nice working with the girls. Lots of new clients, which makes me so happy especially when they say they’ve been recommended 🥰
As always I’m so so grateful for my regular clients who have been trusting me with their babies for many years 💜

I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 🍾
Now it’s time to enjoy my birthday and Christmas next week with friends and family 💜🥂

A big warm welcome to a very gorgeous golden retriever puppy, Apollo 😍 how absolutely scrumptious is he at just 15 weeks old!!! His mummy said he wasn’t sure about the hairdryer but with a happy hoodie he smashed it and was so brave and sailed through his first groom. We fell in love and can’t wait to see him again in the new year 🥰

A sweet little snowflake ❄️ he has a beautiful coat and stands beautifully on the table too, so much so, he use to be used for grooming competitions (not by me) I love practicing my scissor skills on his legs and the round bichon head, practice makes perfect even after grooming for nearly 10 years 😱 always something to learn and practice 😁🎄

Even with a few lumps and bumps now, Basil is still looking handsome, especially after his groom. He thinks so too with that waggy tail 😁🐾 xx

Beautiful Zippo, such a gentle giant, I throughly enjoy grooming this boy 💙

Not many bichons have this cut as it’s a lot of maintenance at home but Dixie’s owner does a fabulous job at keeping those knots at bay and books him in every 5 weeks ⭐️😁

It’s our 4 year wedding anniversary today 🥰 and also when Woody stole the show being the best ring bearer there ever was 🤩❤️

Little miss happy after her first time to a groomers, I think she enjoyed it 😁😍

I always struggle to get a non blurry picture of this boy because he’s always so excited from start to finish 😆 here he is looking at the door waiting for his owners to collect him ☺️
