today marks the end of an era… I have officially finished work to have a baby 🥰
I started my self employed journey in 2018 with but when she left me (still sad!) In 2019 I took the jump and set out about finding my own clients and oh how lucky I have been. You guys have been incredible, I’ve met the most wonderful people, the best animals, and I loved nothing more than a chocker block diary! I’ve travelled goodness knows how many miles and worked some ridiculous hours but it’s because I truly enjoy what I do. The support everyone has given me has been incredible especially throughout covid.
In my absence you’ll be very pleased to know I have a super stand in who has recently set foot into the wonderful world of freelancing. However saying this she has many years of experience with horses and has groomed at high level competition, taken sole charge of large yards and is very confident, responsible and reliable. She comes highly recommended and has references available. So to all my wonderful clients particularly those with ponies I wouldn’t hesitate to get in touch with her to give you a helping hand be it regularly, for your holiday covers or on an ad-hock basis.
It feels very strange to be stepping away from the little business I have grown and treasured but this next adventure is sure to be the best one yet, our own little family 🥰

My final visit to these boys today 😢 I’ve been helping care for bobs and Sam for nearly three years after meeting their owner at a livery yard I had been working on. She was lucky enough to move her horses to the family farm and asked if I could give her a hand two mornings a week, of course a said yes and I’ve been so grateful for all their support throughout my years freelancing 🥰

Friday was my last visit to the most handsome horse I’ve ever met 😍 Since 2019 I have helped look after Ronaldo twice a week and on holidays- I’ll defo be visiting him and his owner at their new yard and at dressage competitions! I’m so grateful for clients like these 💖

Tomorrow is my last day offering a dog walking service which is like the end of an era! 💔 I’ve met soo many wonderful four pawed friends since 2019 and feel grateful to have been supported by their wonderful owners… especially those who’s dogs are in the last photo. These nine have been walking with me the longest, week in week out, come rain or shine, pandemic, no pandemic I’m going to miss them SO much 😭 I know Rusty will too, although I’m yet to break the news to him…
