Afternoon all.

Thought I would put this status up.

I had someone ask me for a quote and when I gave it to him he said I must be joking.

The way I work out a quote is I use AA route planner to find out the total miles.

I then time this by the amount I charge per mile. I charge 0.30 per mile and I know some couiers charge £1.50 a mile if not more. Everyone knows that with the price of diesel at the moment my price is good. This also has to cover insurance, tax, wear & tear and insurance to carry animals

I then add my fee for driving.

I only do single runs so it would only be your pet on board. This way I can guarantee a time for you for me to drop your pet to you. Most other couiers carry multiple animals hense why they can charge less.

I don't do overnights as I feel this stresses the pet and also the new owners would worry.

Upto now I have transported everything from geckos to water dragons, mice to a bloodhound.

Well I'm home safe and sound.. Just to let people know that due to the fuel price rise, which in some places is ridiculous I have to raise my price. I hope that this is only temporary and I can put the price back to normal.
