Detecting lameness in horses requires careful observation and evaluation of their gait and behaviour.
If you suspect your horse may be lame, consult your vet. They can perform a thorough examination, they may want to perform imaging techniques like X-rays or ultrasound, to identify the source of lameness and recommend appropriate treatment or management options. Alternatively they may recommend referral for further diagnostics depending upon their clinical findings.
Here is a video with some signs to look for. If you are worried your horse is lame please call and speak to one of the clinical team.
