, so dogs feel totally relaxed. Your Dog may interact with their fellow dogs too, during their visit,
this helps them learn dog language and the rules of socialisation,
so many lifelong friendships have been made between visiting dogs, and we do are best to book in dogs together so they can be happy with old friends and share their fun with new friends who might be slightly nervous. their playtime is as important as their grooming, this way they look forward to being groomed and enjoy the whole experience. All breed catered for from extra large breeds to the tiny teacup breeds. Jackie has a teeny weeny Yorkie x chi, a Pug, a mini poodle and a German shepherd who all take it in turns to come to work with her and show new dogs how to play and have fun together.

There is concern on the safety of the products listed. There has been an increase in cases of pancytopenia in cats and there is a possible link to the cat food products listed above. Pancytopenia is a very rare condition wherein the number of blood cells (red, white and platelets) rapidly decreases, causing serious illness.

The EPA has received 75,000 incident reports about Seresto pet collars, developed by Bayer and manufactured by Elenco, since they were introduced in 2012.

A popular flea and tick collar is reportedly making thousands of pets sick and even killing some of them — and critics are blaming the Environmental Protection Agency for turning a blind eye to the…

Well, it looks like we are in a National Lockdown again.
We do have to understand that this is for the safety of ourselves and our family's.

Whilst Groomer's are allowed to remain open solely for welfare grooms only, those appointments are to relieve a welfare issues, to prevent a welfare issue getting worse.

Example would be painful knots restricting movement, causing muscle problems, or long nails causing pain that could develop into joint and spine issues if not addressed.

Because we as a country are in a serious position, far worse than previous lockdowns or restrictions, we need to understand that we should all be asking ourselves,
"Is it essential, or can it wait?"

Your health and that of your family and everyone really needs to come first.

Although the GOV site has been updated, there may be further changes over the coming days and after Wednesday's parliamentary meeting.

If you want any advice, I'm still on the same number.
And like last lock down, if you would like extra help or assistance brushing and combing your dog, I offer live guiding tuition as you groom your dog, via Facebook live, messenger, or skype.
So you both enjoy the connection and relax with those happy hormones you both produce!
(We can all do some of those ATM!)
Please contact me for further details

As always stay safe and thank you for your support and good wishes.

As many of you know, I've been a Dog Groomer for 53yrs, I miss all my doggy clients hugs and licks so much! Every day they would understand how I felt, and if I needed cheering up, would smother me in kisses and wrap their front paws around my neck in wonderful hugs! Because of my health, (covid Dec last year, & now long covid) and being classed now as vulnerable, I had to close my salon in March.
Although we have our own here, they are tiny, so their paws can't hug as tight, and I miss burying my head into the furry chest of the gig ones like a GSD, as they held me close with their chin, and I had a good silent cry, their fur wiping my tears as they fell.
Dogs have a lot to teach us, and we should love, hug and kiss them daily.
Nothing beats the love and care of a dog. ###

This photo with my lovely Keira was taken during the first Lockdown. Spending time with her and Ricochet saved me in many ways. This year has been a challenge for all of us, and we are relying on our animal companions like never before to help us get through it.

The life-support system of our animal family members fills our lives with love and hope.

I believe that we are at a watershed moment in appreciation of the bond between man and animal.

I hope that the outpouring of love we have shared with our companion animals during 2020 has not just been the key to saving our own mental health – but also unlocked the door to our moral responsibility for animals generally – a greater awareness of our responsibility for the bigger homes of all species in all habitats outside of our own homes.

This was a home groom that went terribly wrong.
NEVER USE SCISSORS on your doodles, especially if your pup's fur is matted to the skin. Matting is not only extremely painful and can result in skin sores, infections, etc., but it's also very difficult to cut properly and must be handled by a professional. If you are interested in the doodle breed, PLEASE do your research and ensure you are fully prepared for frequent brushing and frequent (and costly) professional grooming.

Please share this far and wide. This is in regard to the post I sent out yesterday regarding Hills Pet Nutrition’s “silent withdrawal”. This article contains many more specifics about which foods are impacted by this “silent withdrawal” and the unscrupulous methods used by Hills Pet Nutrition. Anyone who is feeding Science Diet needs to check their foods against the foods in this article. If your food is not on this list, why would you want to continue to do business with a company like this? When will it be your dog food?
If you want or need to find a more nutritious food, join Saving Pets One Pet @ A Time and we will help you find a bette option. When we know better we do better.
Thanks to Bruce Hollenbeck for posting this.
