So many people asking so the details are below and on the picture. This is a course effective way ti super charge your ecollar use and get rare expert knowledge on:

💥Properly condition your dog on an ecollar;
💥Understand all the functions of an ecollar:
💥Understand when and how to use your ecollar:
💥Learn about negative reenforcement;
💥Hormonal effects & ecollars;
💥Timing of corrections;
💥Dealing with prey chasing/recall;
💥Dealing with agression;
💥Excessive barking.

This course starts with 2 hours intensive knowledge sharing then x3 classes of conditioning work. If your dog is super reactive then it's worth attended to observe and do the training with your dog away from other dogs/people.

This is how social the dogs that we produce are. Roxy is a f # # # around and find out kind of dog who strikes fear into the hearts of many men. But she is gentle and social around the people she needs to be. Nothing but dog and child handler. No ecollars or prongs pretending at obedience. Just 100% loyal, loving family protection dog.

We are now offering advanced obedience for Pets!

Our new Saturday morning advanced obedience class is open to pets and working dogs of all breeds and ages.

If you think you and your pet have what it takes then we can help develop your skills to take your dog to the next level. What we are offering is comprehensive training for dogs of all ages.

To be able to benefit from this class your dog must show no or minimal reactivity and should show potential to take your dog to high level obedience or already be there or there abouts and you want to take them higher.

This class will teach advanced behaviours, familiar to those who have done working trials and agility.

We have an extensive agility setup and large private training ground where we can teach everything from sendaway to high level stays, recall and training around gunfire.

Hull & East Yorkshire Protection Dog Club will move to a different time in our schedule so we can run this amazing class.

VACANCY: Trainee Dog Trainer - Decoy
PAY: Negotiable on experience
Hours: PT Saturdays, opportunity for additional hours on a Sunday and during the week.

DETAILS:

A vacancy has come up for a club decoy on Saturdays for our protection dog club.

The role requires a confidence to engage with young dogs and adult dogs in the delivery of bite training. This will include wearing safety equipment and training dogs and handlers in bite work/protection work. This is a very serious position, with huge scope for personal and career development for the right candidate- albeit only for a few hours a week initially.

Extensive training will be provided.

Requirements:

You must be at least 18, have a keen interest in working dogs and be available on a weekend. You must be have or be willing to be DBS checked and be able to provide 2 written references.

This position is physical by nature and you must be physically fit and capable of carrying out a physically demanding job whilst wearing heavy equipment such as a bite suit.

You must also have the right to work in the UK and ideally have access to car as we change venues most weeks and can be anywhere throughout East Yorkshire.

Closing Date: Ongoing until we find the right candidate(s).

Some lovely work by 2 pups in protection and bite training today. Mika absolutely smashed the sleeve a couple of times and really focused on me throughout. Excuse the colourful language, protection training is about real to life training and real life isn't gentlemanly. Some amazing agility work by Bailey too. I'm thoroughly tired after a very intensive 4 hours training with everyone. Thanks guys see you all next week.

Cracking session today. Focus was on grading work for the pups in the group. Some lovely recalls by Taz. Some amazing work ignoring food for Renegade.

Also had first bites for 2 dogs. 1 gsd czech line and one show line. Both did really well and achieve a full grip and nice hard bite. Really looking forward to developing these fantastic
pups.

And finally pushing Anger on, second bite for her since her first early summer last year. She's tiny but she's a rocket and absolutely savage in her bite. Time to push her training on now so she's ready for a family.

This race is going to be epic. We are entering 2 teams. Support a great local cause. The Rotary Club of Beverley are local people doing things for other local people. All of us at Archer K9 and Hull & East Yorkshire Protection Dog Club are looking forward to this and will entering a couple of teams. Get yourself down there and support the event if you can.

I love that we have inspired so many others to go down the route of starting clubs. Wherever you are, whatever your dog - clubs are a great way to be a part of a community. For us we have our working dogs clubs that have grown from success to success. The success of our clubs is down to the members that we have as they are the center of everything. Not myself or other trainers but the dogs. Watching as others start clubs so similar to Hull & East Yorkshire Protection Dog Club all over the country now is fantastic to see. I've consistently said that I started the club to raise standards and build a community and this is exactly what's happening.

As we've expanded our clubs in Yorkshire they have grown from strength to strength and they are certainly the highlight of my week. Our members become a part of Archer K9 and almost extended family and this I believe is what is our unique selling point. Its not a click its genuine commradary and no matter what club you join its great if you can find that and develop your handling skills and your dogs.

Near the end of my first week back at "work" I've had a reminder how important these clubs are to some people and those who can't make it how much they miss it. To all of our members, past and present - without exception I salute you for enriching our clubs and my own life.

Here's to continuing this for the rest of the year and beyond.

Brilliant new years trip out. Great way to start the year. As a club we do regular trips and get our dogs out to new places whenever we can. Whilst the club is full and we have a waiting list please do get in touch if you want to be added to the waiting list. We do regular days like this that we don't charge for and it's a great chance to meet us all. Happy New year, have a great 20024!
