Recall training session with Rex the border collie. Before we started the initial recall training there were a few barriers we had to breakdown to begin the training process. So Rex is a pretty nervous dog,genetically border collies are pretty sensitive nervous dogs once we broke the barriers the session went fantastically!

Hello everyone! Hope you’re well first and foremost we’re so close to the 200 followers mark it would be much appreciated if you could give the page a share so we can hit that goal!
Also whilst we’re here there will be slight adjustments to how sessions are booked in but for now booking in remains the same until the end of the month I will make an update post regarding that at a later date.
My prices will also be going up slightly
(Not a decision I’ve wanted to make!) but with the cost of living & future stuff coming I’ve unfortunately had to make that decision that will also come into play at the end of the month along with the new booking system
(current clients of mine inbox for more details if you would like to trial the new system so we can see if it works or not)
The pack walks will be changing also in the near future will possibly trial it in a few weeks to see what everyone thinks. What I have in mind may make the sessions a lot more fun the sessions will last longer if everyone enjoys what we have in store!
We’ve also being trialling what I like to call “PRESTIGIOUS CANINES ON TOUR”
Where we go out of hull for pack walks & do some fun stuff outside of hull. we plan to do this once a month at no cost just need yourselves,dogs and transportation
Also PRESTIGEOUS CANINES hoodies/clothing
I know a few people mentioned prestigious canines clothing would be cool & that’s something I’m looking into doing in the near future!
Group sessions
I’m also looking at starting group sessions in the future these sessions would be tailored to certain issues clients may have where I can band clients together having similar issues but predominantly most of my sessions will be on a 1-1 basis.
That’s everything in the works currently for now more updates will come in the near future

Letting them do what they do best sit and observe what’s theirs listening and looking out for what they think is a threat. Typical livestock guardian traits laze around observing and listening to potential threats but once they hear or see something they go 0 - 100 in seconds as seen in the picture of both stood ready to bark
The beauty is I allow them to be what they’re meant to be but once I check there isn’t a threat they go back to lazing about 🐺

Can I recall my kangal from an already rewarding situation of having some fuss off my client ?
I honestly can’t tell you how many hours I’ve put into this dog I’ve had her 2 years now.
Kangals are notorious for being super independent dogs so their recall isn’t that great compared to other breeds (I heard a saying if you can teach a kangal solid recall you’ll go down in history) but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible to recall one.
Teaching cindy this level of recall definitely took more work than any other dog ive worked with regarding recall many many reps were made over the 2 years I’ve had her different locations/distractions & situations
This video wasn’t rehearsed and was a one take clip where I wanted to truly test her skills.
The clip was taken from a training session with tank desensitising him to dogs using cindy as a distraction.
Safe to say I’m happy with the results!

So we took Kobe for his first weigh in at pets at home stoneferry, so Kobe weighed in at 46 kg that’s the size of my female Kangal cindy so he definitely needs to lose some kgs My plan of action is to cut his treat intake and food intake down slightly with more exercise 2-3 1 hour walks and weekly weigh ins to see the results #kangal #kangalX #kangalcross #segugio
