Following the loss of his buddy of 5 years, Casper was feeling really low. We thought Gruff might make a good friend as he's very sweet natured. With lots of neutral space we gradually introduced them. After a bit of strutting and bum wiggling at each other - typical dominance behaviours - they settled down and enjoyed tucking into some veggies together. Presently they're in separate housing as my indoor cage isn't big enough for two. So I bought a huge playpen so they can socialise most days!

Handsome Chip came to visit again yesterday for his top to toe spruce up! 'Mum' Sarah had adopted him, along with his bestie Buzz, just before lockdown. They're a gorgeous pair of piggies - Chip really enjoyed his bath, I've never known such a laid back soul! Buzz was booked in for his nails clipping, which took just a few minutes and he was able to enjoy a frolic in the garden!

Please do get in touch if you're apprehensive about trimming your new pet's nails - it can be a bit daunting for first time owners.
Appointments are available most days and you're more than welcome to stay and chat or drop off and collect a couple of hours later!

Welcome to Piggy Posh Paws - providing custom care for your beloved furry friends. Specifically catering for guinea pigs, I've owned a huge number of various breeds over the last 40 years. All have played a big part of our family and I'd love to offer my help and advice if you're thinking of getting a pair (or more, because you can never stop at just a couple, they're rather addictive!)

Our 'furry potato' family is currently made up of 6 boys and 3 girls:-
Gruff, Jasper, Chewy, Casper, Roscoe & Raffy (aka The Goblins), Angel, Pippa and Lily.

If you're new to guinea pigs, or just considering getting some, I'd advise to do your research first and foremost and always rehome through a rescue where possible!

The pamper services I currently offer you'll see on here - I can also take a small number for holiday boarding or arrange home visits to feed/clean out by arrangement.

Meanwhile, this was my herd's teatime treat after a few hours playtime in the garden....
