First grass cut of the year and it’s looking fab!

Summer hanging baskets done! 😊🌻

Also, due to a camera upgrade, field users will soon have the benefit of free WiFi! ( no excuse for not watching your dogs/ picking up 💩) But great for kids iPads/ tablets or partner checking emails in the car! 🛜😊 .

XL Bully Update.

Had an email from my insurers with some slight ammendments to last time!

Multiple dog households ( including XL bully’s) may use the field with one handler, lead and muzzle free.

You may come with other households but the XL must be on a lead and muzzled.

This is now the law ( so please don’t shout at me!). Anyone found not to be following the rules will be refused future access to the facilities.

Website Ts and Cs are now updated, so please read before booking.

Please see below for the up to date rules.

1. The dog is registered with the index of exempted dog (IED) and a copy of the life certificate is obtained and provided to us in the event of a claim.
2. A copy of the public liability insurance certificate for the dog is obtained and provided to us in the event of a claim.
3. The dog handler ratio is 1:1 with their handler at all times unless with other dogs from the same household
4. The dog is Neutered – in line with Government Rules
5. The dog is Micro Chipped
6. The field is private property with no public access passing through
7. The field is securely fenced so the dog cannot escape
8. The dog is kept on a lead and muzzled until the gate is shut when entering the field
9. The dog is put back on a lead and muzzled before opening the gate to leave the field
10. You can remove the lead and muzzle once inside the secured field
11. If the household has more than 1 dog, they can come to the field together as long as they have a minimum of 1 handler. All dogs leads and muzzles can be removed once in the field including the XL Bully.
12. If there are dogs from different households, the banned breed will need to remain muzzled and on a lead at all time with a 1:1 handler

The field will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New years Day. Open as usual 7am-9pm on all other days over the festive period!

Not knowing what to expect (I didn't view the website Gallery before coming), I found access to the paddock very straightforward, as the instructions implied. The facilities are impressive and it's obvious that the whole environment has been well thought out, not only for a dog's benefit but for owners too.
It's a boon having a safe place to continue training a puppy off-lead.
I congratulate you.

XL bully update : dog can be unmuzzled once’s locked in the field. Handler ratio must be 1:1 please read the following from my insurance company. These updates are now on the website, which must be agreed to before booking. Thank you.

XL BULLY UPDATE.

After clarifying a few things with my insurers I can confirm the following rules that will come into affect from the 31-12-23.

1. The dog is registered with the index of exempted dog (IED) and a copy of the life certificate is obtained and provided to us in the event of a claim.
2. A copy of the public liability insurance certificate for the dog is obtained and provided to us in the event of a claim.
3. The dog handler ratio is 1:1 with their handler at all times
4. The dog is Neutered
5. The dog is Micro Chipped
6. The dog is muzzled at all times
7. The field is securely fenced and locked so the dog cannot escape( please message me for padlock code to lock yourself in)
8. The dog is kept on a lead until the gate is shut when entering the field
9. The dog is put back on a lead before opening the gate to leave the field

Winter baskets up!

The field isn’t too bad considering the weather we’ve had, muddy in patches. Bring wellies/ boots. You can rinse off at the wash station when you’ve done.

Don’t forget! Completely floodlit for the winter months. One switch on the right hand entrance post and one in the shelter.
