Some very sad news to bring you this evening…a couple of weeks ago we lost Freddie the Great Dane.

I know many of you loved to see him at the centre whether that was to be leaned on for a fuss or to see his head pop over the top of the tall fence!

Freddie was an absolute gent with the most beautiful sweetest soul! All the dogs looked up to him at the centre (in the literal sense) but also as a leader of the pack! His calming nature had a magical effect on the dogs! He was amazing with all the dogs however big or small. He has brought so much fun to the centre over the years whether that was shaking drool all over the place or having to dodge him galloping towards you at speed on a walk.

He will be greatly missed by all of us and his friends. Our thoughts are with his owners Lesley & Graham.
