Today we closed our door for the last time. 😢

After 43 years of countless amazing customers, plenty of charismatic staff, work experience and volunteers who put so much heart into the business and thousands (if not millions) of fish and inverts over the years, we finally say our last goodbye.

We want to say a massive thank you to everyone for their support, kind words and reminding us of how much of an impact our business has had to many throughout these years.

We wish everyone who had a part to play in making Leicester aquatics so great and unique all the best in the future. We hope that all of our customers from over the years will continue their passion for the fish keeping hobby. 🐠 🐟

New species of tropical snail 🐌 has arrived in store! Blueberry Snails are a live bearing snail species that may reproduce in an aquarium with a female producing a single fully developed juvenile every 2-3 weeks. They love to eat biofilm and are not known to eat live plants. Their shells vary from reddish brown to pink, their foot is a stunning dark blue with gold/orange specks. They will do well in aquarium with shrimp, other species of snails and fish that will not cause any harm to them. We do only have a limited number available.

These absolute pearls work wonders on establishing biological filtration and crystallising pond water. They also rapidly reduce dangerous ammonia and nitrite levels as well as reducing waste build up. Each ball treats up to 20,000 litres. They can be placed anywhere in the pond including inside your filtration. containing millions of microscopic nitrifying bacteria and bioactive enzymes.

Crystal shrimp, super red cherry shrimp and armoured shrimp back in store to go with the variety of shrimp we already have available.
