New UK Cat Microchipping Law 🐈

Starting today, it's legally required for cats in the UK to be microchipped by 20 weeks old. Owners must keep contact details updated in the database. Failure to comply within 21 days may result in a £500 fine.

This law helps reunite lost cats with their owners and is crucial in emergencies where quick contact with the owner is needed.

Ensure your cat is microchipped and your information is current.

Update on Ruby 🥰

Ruby is settling in so well Annabella & Jordiann are made up we all are… back where she belongs 🫶🏼

Ruby will now be indoors from now on I am so proud of myself that I had her microchipped/spayed 🙂 as I do with ALL my cats.

They are all insured/microchipped/fully vaccinated and neutered/spayed/flead every month & wormed every 3 months. (Then an annual booster every 12 months)

PLEASE PLEASE anyone that hasn’t got your pets microchipped I urge you all to get them done ASAP…. I hope this has been a happy ending lesson to people that if you have your animals microchipped then that is proof they are yours when it comes to scanning.

& getting them spayed/neutered it stops them wandering and from getting them into fights and pregnancy 🐾

Do you know when you feel like you’ve won the lottery?? Well this happened today……….😍😭

WE FOUND RUBY!!!!! She was living 10 doors up on our street (even though I knocked on their door months ago asking about her) good job my billy drove past over a speed bump and slowed down and she was in the window 😲😲 so I go marching over with my scanner and guess what it was OUR RUBY!!!

The young lad was like “have you got any proof of that” yeah mate I’ve got my scanner here and her microchip number and pictures!! Well scanned her and it is her!

They didn’t know where to look….. well I’m glad she’s back home with us where she belongs.

3 months not knowing where she is and I knew in my heart she wasn’t dead!!

She is on cage rest just for the night as she is a little over stimulated 🫶🏼

Hi everyone i am cat fosterer for a rescue and “STEVE” has been transported to my house and unfortunately he’s escaped his carrier whilst being brought in.

He is black with a blue collar on (may not be wearing it now) male/not neutered /no microchip

He currently bolted at the back of “Prescott court house” and maybe selwyn/gordon street” way…

Please keep an eye out and message me personally for any sightings (he is very friendly)

I can’t thank everyone enough on behalf of Avid’s Angels Cat Rescue and myself (a fosterer) and from all the cats we now have crates sorted for most of the cats.

A massive appreciation post to Charlotte Davies on her generosity of purchasing 2 brand new crates for our fur babies 🥺 I’m in absolute tears we’ve managed to save 3 lives today and that’s just not from us but by these people who have helped without these kind donations we would never of been able to save without the crates for space so thankyou again to each and everyone one of you we are literally so grateful 🥰😘

Also a big thankyou to Clare Louise & Sarah Dance & Susan Butterworth for kindly donating there crates too us 🫶🏼🫶🏼

These 3 babies were on a 7 day kill policy I’m just so grateful and relived we have managed to save 3 lives!!! 🥺😭🫶🏼

Hi everyone this is a big ask but has anyone got any medium/large crates they are willing to gift? I foster for a cat rescue and we are in need of crates I have 3 rescue cats coming into me as a matter of urgency as they are on a 7 day kill policy at the vets so we need to get these crates ASAP! Else I won’t be able to take them in as I already have crates that are being used.

Hi everyone I have set up my own grooming page I have decided to name it Royalty Paws I have recently passed my animal groooming course and I am wanting to help vunrable cats/rescues as I know how stretched funds can be especially in rescue…🫶🏼

I also foster for an amazing cat rescue Avid’s Angels Cat Rescue who are greatly supportive and have let me groom their babies for experience.
