Honestly buzzing for this fabulous family with their beautiful Humphrey π His caregivers reached out to me about 6 months ago for help with his Reactivity when in presence of other dogs. We have slowly worked on helping Humphrey build his confidence up around just seeing dogs in far distance to start with and slowly at his pace. Introducing busier environments and more variabilty with dogs. He has come along in leaps and bounds πππ

This video may just look like a typical happy spaniel πΆ but for the absolutely beautiful Todd this is a huge milestone day for him. Todd has struggled with anxiety and fear related Reactivity with people dogs and any change in an environment. We have slowly built Todd's confidence up and today was his first day back at the beach for around 9 months and this guy flourished. Seeing and passing dogs and people confidently. Engaging with his caregivers. Playing. Sniffing a real progressive change for this fella and a joy to see π₯°β€οΈπΆ
A big well done π

More updates for this wonderful lad Arthur β€οΈ
Arthur came for help with his Reactivity towards cars and dogs. We focused on cars initially and Arthur has had a fantastic outcome with end goals reached. π
We are now focusing on building up patience and disengagement around other dogs. He is doing super π β€οΈ keeping things minimal, at distance and him achieving helps build the blocks to moving forward with success πΆπ
Bo doing awesome with working on some proofing of emergency stops with her heading out to a distractions ππ₯°ππ₯³
Update video on the beautiful Arthur with his car Reactivity journey β₯οΈ This guy is taking everything in his stride. Carefully breaking everything down into bitesize areas to work on from noise, proximity, positioning of vehicles, size we are now achieving walking down town streets with vehicles on-coming. As you can see Arthur has very much learnt vehicles = good stuff from the human. We can also see that lovely fluid body language from Arthur keeping relaxed and supple throughout π
π Wonderful progress, its been a pleasure working with you all so far and continuing on now in 2024 π₯°π
Meet the Wonderful Arthur β€οΈ Arthur has come for help and guidance with Reactivity to both cars and dogs. His care givers have had some foundation sessions with myself to build ready for starting C.C work around his triggers in the real world.

A huggggeeee shout out to the Wonderful Charlie and his (p)awesome family π₯³π₯°
Charlie is a super complex lad , he has several anxieties, often 'overthinks' and is reactive to many triggers. Today this chap was able to be close proximity to other dogs/people/ bikes ect , offer disengagement, offer tricks and even settle and make the choice to lie down while literally next to a family of doggies π π π Buzzing for you all. You really have worked hard and done everything possible to help this wonderful boy blossom πΈ β€οΈ
This is what I love to see ππ beautiful walking, keeping the dogs needs at the front π not rushing to have to achieve an A to B route, allowing this pup to take all the smells ( read that newspaper to inform of all the info in their environment) and rewarding the check ins and good decisions made.
When we cater for our dogs needs, we help build that connection of trust with our canine family and skills like lead work, we see both wants fulfilled, the dogs get time to take in their environment and lots of good stuff along the way, and the human gets a dog happy to stay with them and not pull to everything as quickly as they can π₯°π
Next time your walking your dog, try to scrap the ' A to B format ' and let them take the lead. Let them sniff, read their environment and reward all the good you see.
Quality over quantity π₯°π₯³
The Wonderful Hettie maintaining her stay while the fabulous Meg does a loop of some fun agility π₯°π₯³
Love working with these girls π₯°π₯³π
Alfie really has come a long way since starting his journey working with Reactivity with dogs, always such a privilege to get to work with such dedicated families, doing everything they can to understand, help and listen to their furry members of family β€οΈπ
We still have a way to go and it's always about listening to Alfie to ensure we move at the best pace for himπ₯°

Meet the super cute Lazlo π He has started his journey with us, working on Reactivity around mainly other dogs, we have put in lots of management to give Lazlo the best chances to succeed, and he has been doing great. Today we worked on building disengagement from another dog and closer proximity work ππ₯°π Well done Lazlo π
So lovely to have the beautiful Dillon backπ Working on engagement with his mum today π₯°πΎ Lots of great choices made x
Go Maya with her reactivity journey! ππ₯°πΎπ big steps forward in today's sessions with work on approaches to another dog and some 'hang out' time in super close proximity today. It may look like nothing, but that's the point, doing our job well means Maya is set up to succeed as much as possible so we see those steps of improvement moving forward, and a happier, more confident and resilient dog Infront of us. It takes time, paitence and understanding π
Huge wins today β€οΈπΎ
Meg doing super at increased distance for her send arounds today π₯°πΎππΆ
Many of you know reactivity is a huge focus area of mine. It's a hugely complex area and certainly something that doesn't change overnight.πΎ
This little chap Todd has made hugeeeeee steps forward! I met Todd and his fabulous owner over 2 years ago now, where Todd couldn't cope with anything from people, dogs, bikes, horses, you name it, they were huge triggers for him and he simply couldn't cope, he was incredibly fearful of the world.
We have worked at his pace, and slowly built up trust and helped build positive associations to his triggers, all with no pressure and ensuring Todd has choice throughout.π
Fast forward to now and this guy is smashing it, he is out in the world living his fullest of lives, confident, engaged and such a happy, cheeky boy.
Well done guys!! πππΎ
Meet the wonderful Lilly π₯° Lilly is the sweetest little rescue that really has come along in leaps and bounds π Lilly was very fearful of the world, she had very little interest in much and was pretty shut down. We have looked at all factors for Lilly to help build confidence, resilience and to encorage to see that cheeky nature come through.
It was a joy to see her today, her food drive has increased, she is learning to play and self navigate, her coat is looking great and her confidence has really grown π₯°
Today we worked on walking with mum and checking in, look at that happy little poochπ₯°πΎππ
Well done πππΎπ₯°
