NEW! Proud to introduce the healthy seed mix that I've been working on since the summer of 2023 in collaboration with Dr. Stephanie Lamb, DVM, DIPL ABVP avian vet. The goal was to create a healthy version of a seed mix that would offer everything the standard commercial seed mixes lack. As a parrot owner of budgies & IRN, I struggled to find a decent seed mix that wouldn't be just millet-based or being bulked up with the sunflowers or safflowers seeds but would offer more - foraging opportunity as well as the nutrients needed and would perfectly complement the raw feeding. The majority of the commercial seed mixes use poor-quality feed-grade seeds, but we use organic/non-organic human-grade ingredients with a combination of wild seeds.
There's no seed mix like this on the market and it's been blended with different ingredient ratios to create a well-balanced meal. We don't just throw random ingredients in the bag, each of our blends has been well thought out and created with the purpose of best supporting parrots' health. In our seed mix, you won't find fruits, peanuts or any other processed unhealthy ingredients, instead, it's packed with superfoods and healthier seeds options.

Make an easy banana snack for your parrot 🦜 this Christmas 🎁🎄🎅
Peel and slice banana into 1/4 inch rounds and then roll it in Polly's sprouted blend "Parrot Muesli". Two slices per medium/large parrot are plenty.
Your parrot will definitely enjoy picking those sprouted seeds.

After you soaked your seeds, grains & legumes ensure to drain them well and remove any excess water using a paper towel. You want your seeds looking "dry" again like this. Because they were already activated the anti-nutrients have already been removed and the seeds/ legumes /grains are now easier to digest for your parrot. Then you add them to your parrot's fresh food.
