Kate the nurse went along to visit St George’s Hospital to hand out some treats for the lovely doggies who work with Pets As Therapy

Jackie who you have probably seen on reception, is a volunteer for this charity.

These wonderful doggies visit patients and staff around the whole hospital but today they had a day off and were helping raise awareness for this wonderful charity

This year is their 40th anniversary and Broadway vets are helping to raise money towards this amazing cause.

🚨🚨🚨 Weather Warnings 🚨🚨🚨 There are very few breeds that are actually designed for this artic weather we are having. So here are a few top tips for caring for your pup during this cold spell.
📌Short haired dogs will feel the cold easily so consider shorter more frequent walks. 📌 Older dogs will feel cold so consider getting them a stylish winter coat. Avoid jumpers as this can get wet easily.
📌 Ice can be super slippery for us and them so take care when you’re out and about.
📌 Pavements and Roads are now being gritted and can irritate their paws, it is also highly toxic so make sure their paws are bathed after each walk with some luke warm water.
📌 Snow can get bunched up in between their pads so be sure to check each paw carefully.
