We are excited to announce that we are supporting PAAW House and their campaign

Through the Christmas campaign, they are raising funds to purchase and supply pet food and other essentials to London foodbanks. They have already supplied nearly 500 kg of dog and cat food to local foodbanks, and they hope to double that amount before Christmas. We are delighted to launch our Charity Christmas Campaign
.

The aim of the campaign is to ensure pets & their owners stay together and do not go hungry this Christmas. With your help - We will be buying and delivering pet food and essentials to London food banks, whilst donating to help with operational costs.
Taking part is easy... For those who can afford it, we are asking for a small donation of £1 to help us support our partner food banks & charities.

In addition, we hope you will spread the word and ask your friends to do the same, the more people who join us the more pets we can help.

We are super proud to announce that we raised £525.71 for the five wonderful charity partners of 2022!

Thank you so much to everyone who took part in the for PAAWstival lottery. Your support means the world to us and especially the dogs who will ultimately benefit.

All five charities will receive an equal share of the raised funds.

What an amazing day we had yesterday at the Pawfect Street party in London with PAAW House for the PAAWSTIVAL awards ❤️
Scout loved his day and as ever, Scout’s well being was top of the list. He had his buggy (although he did keep climbing out!), his cool blanket and plenty of fresh water. He also had a sneaky afternoon nap with his mum 💤
First up for Scout was the Hero award, where he and his new friends were runners up ❤️
The next award category for Scout was the All stars 4 Ukraine Award, celebrating the positivity that dogs bring into our lives.
Scout won!!!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Absolutely over the moon for our wonky boy who takes everything in his stride with his gentle and kindhearted soul ❤️
Congratulations also to Mila Moo for being a runner up in the Rescue awards and the All Stars 4 Ukraine Award and to the gorgeous Fleur for winning the rescue award ❤️❤️
Once again Scout has shone through with his strength, courage and tenacity ❤️

A dog show with a difference. The PAAWstival Dog Awards, currently open for entry online, features 6 categories, that’s six potential opportunities for you and your pooch to win a cash prize.

Hello Friends

We want to alert you to a special fundraiser to help a tiny puppy called Bananas.

This little puppy was rescued by our friend’s friend when she was presented at a veterinary surgery to be PTS. Bananas was born with congenital problems, her lovely new Mum who works in the surgery took one look at her and wanted to save her.

She has now been assessed by a specialist and needs surgery, this is the start of a long journey for Bananas and her new family.

Any help to give her a chance of a happy life would be greatly appreciated.

Major breakthrough for ‘Pets in Housing’ in the UK!
We are excited to announce that private tenants in the UK will soon have a right to keep a pet, and landlords will be able to ask for pet damage insurance. This is a win-win for the campaign in terms of the proposed changes appeasing both tenants AND landlords.

Government Proposals led by Housing Secretary Michael Gove will bring a long-anticipated end to blanket bans on pets in private rental accommodations. The government has released what it named the Fairer Private Rented Sector White Paper, which includes reforms stating that landlords must consider and cannot unreasonably refuse pets.

While change might not come quickly enough, the wheels are finally in motion! SCAS will continue to support AdvoCATS in their tireless campaign to keep people and pets together and ensure the issue maintains its new found position on the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) agenda.

Hey 🐾 I’m Damson .. HAPPY SUNDAY !

Darling Damson is an absolute sweetheart.
She is a very gentle puppy, yet confident and comfortable around people. She loves attention, cuddles and a quick snooze in your arms.

She will have lots to learn about UK life when she arrives, but she is already building her confidence exploring on walks and is currently learning to walk on the lead.

She is already house trained and also had no issues sharing this space with other resident dogs.

Damson could definitely live with a calm and confident resident doggy sibling in her new home but this is not essential, as we are sure she will be just as content with the love of her special family all to herself too!
