Some midweek advice from Chase: never forget to stop and smell the roses🌹

We had a fun adventure today and explored the park together! We sniffed EVERYTHING, practiced some tricks and had some cuddles! He was such a good boy🖤

Double Trouble🙈

Bob and Ruby had a great weekend with me! We did lots of cuddling, some zooming around and plenty of napping with a bit of sunbathing too!

Bit too warm today for any proper walks so spent some time with Little and Large teaching them something new!
Benji’s trick of choice was a crawl which he’s making fab progress with and he very much enjoyed shuffling across the floor!🥰

Little anxious boy had his first meet with (hopefully!) his new friend and he did well! Slowly got closer and closer to her and eventually comfortably got parallel with her💜 Shadow wears a muzzle as he was very undersocialised as a puppy and now doesn’t know how to behave around dogs. He has made friends in the past so I know it can be done! It’s just a long and steady process so that he feels as comfortable as possible💕

Ola loved her homemade ice lollies! I just eyeballed amounts so swipe for ingredients but I did about 1.5 tbsp of peanut butter with about 1.25 cups of yoghurt then finely chopped an apple and chucked that in too! Then popped a chew in the bottom to act as a stick and left to freeze for 24 hours♥️

Jessie and Hunter had the BEST time at the enrichment workshop today🥰 thank you for enriching a grumpy old lady and a nervous old man’s lives, they’ve been exhausted since we got home! Definitely highly recommend these workshops, Hunter’s confidence grew so quickly with just half an hour🥰🥰

Let’s talk about enrichment!
If your dog loooves enrichment toys (kongs, wobblers etc.) but you struggle to find something that will take longer than 30 seconds, then there are ways to make your current enrichment toys even harder! One idea for a wobbler is to put something else in with the food; you can use a tennis ball or similar toy but in Benji’s case, I used scrunched up kitchen roll (you could also use paper). This is because Benji has an incredible nose and I often get him to sniff for and find tennis balls so he would definitely know if there was a ball in his wobbler, which could make him feel very frustrated when he can’t get to it! The kitchen roll blocked the hole just enough to make him work a bit harder for the food and didn’t frustrate him as he has no desire to get to kitchen roll!
