I have got some exciting news 🥳 You all know my husband,Andy, he has been helping me with the Ark Pet Care walks for many years. Well from mid August we are going to be working together full time 🥳 We are expanding the business and are going to be offering a dog walking service too. I am going to be overseeing the day care side and Andy will be overseeing the walks. So if anyone wants a dog walking space please let me know 😁

What a crazy summer we’re having 🙄 It’s going to be hot tomorrow and Friday apparently so I thought I would share this chart again. I use this to decide whether it is too warm to walk the dogs, I do try to go out earlier in the day and always go to the woods so that there is shade available. I also set up the paddling pool, get the fans going and make sure there’s plenty of shade in the garden, we also have tiled floors so they are nice and cool too ☺️

I didn’t think I would have to post this this year but this week could get a little warmer 🤞🏻 If it does happen I will be using this guide as to whether I do any walks this week, I do usually go out a little earlier in the day though so it should be fine. As usual I will be getting the paddling pool out and the fans and adding more shade to the garden ☺️

It’s a sad day today at Ark pet Care. Our gorgeous boy Bob was put to sleep this morning, he was a month off 15 years old. He was a lovely boy who has played, shared his toys and his home and went on walkies with all the Ark Pet Care dogs new and old. Please forgive my slightly pink eyes and I thank all of your lovely dogs for letting me have extra cuddles that I need at the moment 😢
