I am proud to announce that I have taken the first step towards an APDT accreditation.
The APDT are amongst a handful of organisations in the UK who are campaigning for more oversight in the dog training industry, more regulation in training requirements for trainers and behaviourists, more oversight, more control and conformity in the methods used by professionals. I am proud to say I am on the way to becoming a member!

Hi all!
Introducing my new, part time assistant, Darcy, read more about her on my website (www.helshounds.co.uk).

I’ve never really known how to refer to myself as a pet person. You can’t own a living thing, so how can I be their owner? I didn’t give them life, I’m not a parent in that sense. But it is my job to care for my animals, to love them, to protect them, to keep them safe from as much as I can, to give them everything they need and more. I make the decisions, I speak for them, I interpret what they are saying with their body and their noises for the rest of the world.
This, this fits.

But I’m not crying… you are!
