Ivy being ridden for the first time since she came to us

I would like to introduce everyone to Ivy. Ivy came to Blackhill Lodge Stud not long after we opened looking very run down, skinny and covered in rainscald and lice. It has been a long and difficult road but I am very happy and proud to see the much needed difference in her now. She still has some way to go in her journey but we are so excited to see the horse she is becoming with the nicest of nature's! Here is to Ivy 🌱🌿

Trimming time! Teddy isn't very good at having his feet picked up as he is still very green in this area and is something we are working hard on. Alex Edney Farrier came out to give Teddy a much needed trim and was absolutely fantastic, so patient and kind with him, in the end Teddy even started to enjoy himself!! We would definitely recommend Alex as a farrier.

We would like to welcome Blackhill Lodge Stud's new mascot, Teddy! 🐻 The small pony with a big heart and just the right amount of sass 💁‍♂️ we have big hopes for Teddy in the long run but right now he is just enjoying the love and attention.

Tack room has a new door and all the saddle and bridle racks are up. Most importantly though, we have a tea, coffee and biscuit station set up!! 😊☕🍪

Mats all arrived and being put in the stables! Wonderfully thick and comfortable, the yard is really coming together now. Thank you Bowley Equestrian for the mats.
