✨Price Increase✨

From the Monday 1st April there will be an increase of £5 for all full grooms.

Clients with two or more dogs in for a full groom will be covered under the one increase.

Bath, blow drys and face tidies will remain the same, also any small smooth short haired dogs who require desheding eg Jack Russell, Frenchies, Pugs, mixed breeds etc

Additional charges may apply if your dog is matted and dogs who are left longer than the recommended time inbetween grooms.

Any new clients from January 2024 will not be affected by the increase as this was implemented at the time of booking.

If you have any queries or questions regarding your price going forward, please message me I’ll be happy to help. If anyone wishes to cancel any appointments due to my increase just let me know.

Finally, I’d like to thank you all for your continued support and loyalty over the years,

Hello, a reminder of the road works being carried out this week Monday 4th to Friday 8th March between the hours of 09:30am and 15:30pm.

With this in mind, please leave in plenty of time for your appointment. If you are late to your appointment, I can only do what I can in the time thats left, however you will still be charged a full groom appointment.

This also applies to lateness in general too.

Sharpening equipment with a cutting edge, our services include:

Scissor Sharpening

• Professional hairdressing and barbering scissors; convex, semi-convex, bevel edged and thinners
• Dog grooming scissors including curved and serrated bevel edged for cutting course hair
• Domestic household scissors
• Fabric scissors; dressmaking, embroidery, pinking shears etc.

Dog Blades & Clipper Servicing

• Sharpening of A5 clipper blades, including ceramic cutters, and Moser Arco clipper blades
• Clipper servicing and, where possible, replacement of circuit board and/or motor

Let’s Talk About Deshedding?

Dog shedding can be frustrating for all us, no matter how much we love our dogs 🤍

You’ll notice seasonal shedding and your dogs coat producing higher incidences of shedding, in particular Autumn, when the weather becomes cooler and the top coat falls out to make room for the fresh undercoat as your dog prepares for Winter.

✨Benefits of Deshedding✨

🐶 Facilitates the natural shedding process
🐶 Stimulates shiner healthy coat
🐶 Removes dirt & debris from the skin & coat
🐶 Prevents matts from forming in the future
🐶 Overall happier & more comfortable dog
🐶 Significantly reduces the accumulations of dog hairs in your home

Unfortunately, while de-shedding is beneficial and significantly reduces the amount of hair on your dog, it doesn’t stop the shedding process. Many owners can be miffed when their dog keeps shedding after a de-shedding. But as you can see from the images in this post, LOTS of hair is removed so while it’s impossible to clear out 100% of lose fur (or fur that wasn’t ready to shed yet), you will see a big improvement.

De-shedding should be done regularly, and once you’re on a good schedule, the effects will be more noticeable.
