Thanks to the team at Fairlight stud we have had a successful fostering. Lovely photos this morning of Valentino and her foster mother Lissie added to the post for you all to see. This took several days of hard work 2hrly feeds and a suitable foster box but I am overwhelmed with the success. Can’t thank them enough. Thank you to all that shared and sent well wishes and offers but as soon as I saw Jo’s message I knew this was the right option.

Please reach out if you think you can help. Sadly Fleurs colic rapidly took a turn for the worse and was put to sleep this morning. We are in need of a foster mare for baby Valentino. She is 10 days old, with warmblood parents on both sides. Would prefer to care for both foster mare and baby here in Monmouthshire, S Wales, UK but open to options to ensure she has the best outcome. I will share this post with relevant FB pages as well. Thank you for sharing x

Baby number three arrived yesterday, Fleur made the most of some quiet time in the field so we were a little shocked to find her stood with a filly foal when we went to get her in. Fleur makes giving birth look mega easy, all quiet then she lays down and out they pop. Meet Highborne Valantina (Tina) by Viconte out of Fleur Rubin, Furst Piccolo, Rubenstein mother line 🥰

Bank holiday baby, last night we welcomed this beautiful filly foal by Glamourdale out of Babs my San Amour Don Bedo mare. Very pleased and looking forward to seeing her stretch her legs tomorrow. 🥰🥰🥰

Zena on her way in from her winter turnout field. She will be the first of our four mares to foal this year and is in foal to Iron by Asgards Ibiza out of a Hohenstein motherline, other exciting names in the breeding are Desperado, Vivaldi, Jazz and Caprimond. She will have daily turnout and time to settle into her foaling box over the next few weeks before the foals arrival. Exciting summer ahead with four foals due. Very grateful to her former owner Pandora for gifting Zena to the stud to continue breeding.

Personal best today, a 78%+ with the wonderful Percy and still more to come as he grows in confidence. Great to be back out competing with Valentine’s beautiful horse. A well ran competition as always at Burrows Court Farm with the added bonus of a new tack shop on site.
Flew back over the bridge in time for Billy’s class showcase, Artful Maths. A lovely display from the children and the unveiling of their mural which every child contributed to. Well done yr 5 👏👏👏

It’s been a quiet foaling season with only Fleur having a foal this year, Highborne So Shakira (aka baby Mo).
However it’s been a busy summer getting the mares in foal for 2024. I’m excited to announce we are expecting 4 foals, Zena is in foal to Iron, Babs to Glamourdale, Fleur to Blue hors Viconte and finally Sectet is in foal to Woodlander Rockstar 😊😍

I am absolutely thrilled to see the European dressage team announcement, and will take this opportunity to share that I have my beautiful San amour Daughter out of a Don Bedo mother line in foal to Glamourdale due to foal June 2024.

British Equestrian and the British Dressage selectors confirmed the four horse and rider combinations that will form their list of definite entries ahead of the 2023 European Dressage Championship, set to take place in Riesenbeck, Germany from 5–10 September this year.
