At some point during the night/early hours of this morning, this cardboard box was left outside our premises with a note.

There were supposedly 2 x young pets inside, but unfortunately, as we were unaware that the box was there, they have clearly escaped the box 😢

We are situated in a busy industrial area that is not safe for animals to be roaming, and we desperately want to find these two precious young pets and ensure they are safe.

We do not want to judge.
We know times can become desperate.
We urge whoever has left them here, to please call us on 0114 243 3232 to confirm the description of them so we know what we are looking for. The note doesn't specify whether these were cats, rabbits etc..
Your anonymity will be protected.
We just want to find them and make sure they're safe ❤️

These delightful little boys were brought into us on Friday after being found in a bush...

The area found wasn't disclosed, and they were bone dry and very clean despite the continuous rain, so we believe they have come from a home

It is also important for us to stress that PDSA is not a rehoming centre, and whilst we understand that people believe they are doing the right thing by bringing stray animals to us, for every stray animal brought to us, this takes away a kennel from a patient who we may be needing to treat, and uses our charitable resources that could be used for a patient requiring treatment.

If you find a stray animal, we ask that you contact RSPCA on 0300 123 8022 who will be able to assist you accordingly

All emergency cases during this time will be diverted to Vets Now Doncaster or Chesterfield, depending which site is closest to you. If your pet falls ill or injured during the above hours, please call us first on 0114 243 3232 to speak with the team who will advise and direct accordingly.

There will be NO vet on site during these times, so please do not arrive to the hospital without speaking to the team first, as this may delay treatment required for your pet.

Happy Heavenly Birthday to our incredible Founder, Maria Dickin! 🎂🎈

For over 100 years, we've been helping care for poorly pets across the UK. But what we do wouldn't have been possible without Maria, who would have been 153 today.

Growing up, Maria wanted to use her voice to make a difference. Although, in her younger years, she didn’t know just quite the difference she’d go on to make 🐾

Maria was one of the leading voices in improving the lives of not just pets but their owners too. We’re proud to continue her work, ensuring that today, and in the years to come, owners and their pets have somewhere to turn to 👩‍⚕️🏥

To all clients attending PDSA Sheffield over the next few weeks, please be aware that from Monday 25th September our car park will be undergoing some much needed maintenance for a period of 4 weeks

As a result, parking spaces will be very limited

Please make use of surrounding roads where possible to allow priority to our less mobile clients, or for Emergencies that may need assistance from their vehicle
