Just a little reminder we are doing a little charity dog walk in memory of Sharon Rowe tomorrow the 26th at 12 o'clock in Chalkwell park .
The meeting point will be that main entrance on the London rd.
All are welcome you don't need to bring a dog to attend. We will be happy to see you and celebrate the memory of Sharon

Hi all,
Just a quick update on what im going to be doing for mum ( Sharon Rowe ) on the 26th November at 12pm im planning to do a little doggy meet up for mum at chalkwell park on the london road it will be at the main entrance on london road by the bus stop to make it accessible to everyone as possible. Everyone is more than welcome to come i will also be trying to raise money in mums name for The Canine Lifeline - UK as they are a wonderful dog charity and its where we got the most wonderful opportunity to look after Amos for awhile. I would really appreciate if you could spread the word so everyone who wants to come gets the chance to. Please dont feel like you have to donate money if you cant afford it, it will just be lovely to get everyone together and share stories and the good times we all have with mum.

Those of you that know me know i don't post my personal life all over facebook but i had to say one final goodbye to my mum Sharon Rowe who passed away on the 26th August.

She was an amazing person and has always been there for me my whole life and i will miss her dearly and i love her to pieces. She was taken far too soon and unfortunately had a heart attack in her sleep. She didnt want a funeral so there wont be one but i do plan to do a little dog meet up in one of the local parks to say goodbye to her properly im not sure when yet though.

Hello to all our customers unfortunately changes are afoot🤔
Temporarily we will be grooming from Hollywood Hounds opposite Chalkwell Park, our Contact no is still the same! We will however have our own small shop/studio soon just around the corner from West Rd, so stay tuned for our next announcement!!!
Unfortunately due to rising inflation costs we will have to increase our prices, have held off as long as possible but inevitably its become a necessity all grooms will increase by £5
I hope you will all bear with us through these changes many thanks sharon 😊 xx

As a vet/groomer I see so many longhaired and/or doodle dogs who are matted. You need to feel the coat right at the root not just at the surface. Shaving these dogs short if matted respects the animal welfare act. We cannot have them on a table for hours being brushed - the pain and discomfort would throw animal welfare out of the window!!

If you have a longhaired and or curly haired dog do discuss brushing with your groomer. You need to get it right to avoid unnecessary sores and discomfort. Start from a young age to get them used to it and do not just concentrate on the body! The legs and face get matted to.

Avoid the shave and trips to the vet by maintaining the coat. Your groomer will become your best friend as they will help hugely ❤️
