🐾 Just a quick update for everyone who had an appointments booked in the last 3 month should now have a new appointment booked in.

Hello hope you are all OK and hanging in there. As I can imagine we will all have our very own chewbacca by now.

Sadly nothing much has changed, lets hope the next announcement comes with a bit more positive news.

Due to Government Guidelines and after speaking with the local council today, I have to notify you that I unfortunately have to close during lockdown.

Whilst dog groomer's are aloud to remain open, this is for welfare/emergency grooms only. This decision has been took out of my hands.

🐾 If you require any help with regards to grooming your dog please contact me.

🐾 During this time regular brushing will help maintain coat.

I will keep you all updated of any changes in the mean time stay safe and hopefully see you all soon.

Please find below some information on maintaining different breed coat types.

I couldn't advise anyone on clipping their dogs during this time unless you feel confident enough to do so, safely and at your own risk.
Most vets are only seeing to emergency only at this time so please take care.

Just one of the things thats been suggested that PPE will be required whilst carrying out grooming during this. And unfortunately this isnt easy to come by and im sure the NHS need this more at this time.

I know its difficult at this time for those who are regular groomed and the weather been that bit warmer. Please try brushing regular and hang on in there.

Im happy to help and advise you the best i can. And hopefully get back to grooming soon & safely. So please dont hesitate to message or ring.

Just an update.

Due to following government guidelines, we will remain closed.

I have looked into extra measures to be able to remain open but there are a lot of grey areas, that would make dog grooming difficult to carry out in the current situation. Therefore I have took the decision to remain closed. I feel at this time, it is in our best interest to keep us all safe including our Fur babies.

I would also like to inform all of our customers that Kelly has decided to leave Bark n Groom. I am sure she will missed by us all and I would like to wish her the very best for the future.

Once I receive the go ahead from the government that we can reopen. Bark n Groom will be business as usual.

Please contact me if you have any questions regarding any of the above. Or if you have any queries on maintaining your dog during this time.
