Over a number of years, we have been able to hold our prices steady as nobody likes rises. Unfortunately, like all businesses we have seen significant increases to the costs of running the cattery in the last 2 years (more so recently) – cat food, cat litter, disinfectant, utilities, labour, taxes and insurance (the list goes on) – frustratingly there seems to be no let up in these increases as we go further into 2022……
Consequently, it has become necessary for us to review our pricing, and to implement increases so that we can maintain our five star standard and service. The increases will take effect from the 1st April 2022 and can be viewed on our website

Lets all hope everything gets back to some sort of normality in 2022. We would also like to thank you for your custom which was very much appreciated and your ongoing support during 2021 when we opened back up after lockdown.

We need your help – please sign and share this petition with as many friends and other Boarding Kennels and Catteries as possible. It can be found by searching for ‘Support Boarding Kennels and Catteries’ in Google or other internet search engines or follow the link to https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/560514.
In support of this petition ‘We ask that Boarding Kennels are recognised as directly and severely suffering from the impact of the Covid travel restrictions and be given access to support in the same way as the travel and hospitality industries. The British are a nation of pet lovers. When absent from home to travel, for work, health reasons or to care for a relative pet owners can rely on Boarding Kennels and Catteries to look after their cherished pets.
Due to the Covid related travel restrictions Kennels and Catteries are facing huge losses, closures and bankruptcy. Without help these businesses will simply disappear impacting the wider tourism industry and resulting in animals being abandoned to shelters and charities’. This petition now has over 21,000 signatures already but we need to reach 100,000. The Boarding kennel and Cattery industry is at crisis point. Unlike other businesses no grants are available as the Government has categorized the industry under Animal Welfare along with vets and rescue centres and must stay open, however and at the same time banning travel so no customers and no business.

We ask that Boarding Kennels and Catteries are recognized as directly and severely suffering from the impact of the Covid travel restrictions and be given access to support in the same way as the travel and hospitality industries.
