Look who’s feeling fresh and fabulous after a much-needed groom! 😍

This is Delilah, a lovely lagotto romagnolo who came to us looking like a fluffy cloud. She couldn’t see very well with all that hair in her eyes, but now she can show off her beautiful brown peepers. 🥰

Lagotto romagnolo is an Italian breed of dog that was originally used as a water retriever and a truffle hunter. They have a thick, wool-like coat that curls into ringlets. They are intelligent, energetic, and loyal companions

Delilah is ready to enjoy the springtime with her new haircut. 🐶

What a difference a groom makes! This is Mavis, a sweet pup who came to us looking like a fur ball. She was so fluffy, we could barely see her eyes. But after a good wash, trim, and blow-dry, she emerged as a new dog. Just look at her shiny coat and happy smile. She is ready to rock the world with her cuteness. Look who came to visit! It's Boo, the fluffiest girl in town. She decided to go for a fresh and trendy look, and I think she nailed it. 😍

Boo is not a fan of the dryer, so we skipped that part and gave her a dry cut instead. She was very brave and patient, and she had a bath and enjoyed some cuddles afterwards. 🥰

We'd like to thank all at the Barking lot, and especially Stacey for the opportunity after we lost our unit due to COVID. I was almost 6 months into grooming when I joined over a year ago, and I've learned lots while working there. Sammy kindly helped me before she moved on to her own shop, and Stacey has kept me right throughout, helping me a lot on my journey. She knows a lot about all different dog breeds, their temperament, how best to groom them, and really helped when I didn't know what to do with difficult dogs. All the people who work there and recently used to work there have helped us every day without fail, and we couldn't have done it without them and their guidance too.
They have now taken over the pool, so they can take it to the next level, and the lovely people who have been so kind to us, can help all the Doggie's on their water journeys 😁

We are relocating to Billingham to help with childcare, but would ask all customers of The Barking Lot who have used us, to contact them directly for future grooming appointments, as they will be getting someone new 🙂

We wish them all the best for the future.
