🐎🐎YARD HELP WANTED 🐎🐎

Due to my current yard help finding full time employment - I am looking for someone who could work a Monday morning and Saturday morning.

7.45am start , 3 hours work. More for the right person.

Grace helps me, but she also has another job at a riding school so I need someone who can do a Monday and Saturday morning weekly.

Usual yard jobs and possibility for some riding of my own horses only for the right person.

Ideally 14.2hh or above for some low level pony club activities/ pleasure riding. Must be pleasant to deal with as the pony will be for a mother daughter share

Must be able to move yards to clients lovely private yard where their current pony is kept

As many of you are already aware I'M GETTING MARRIED!!!! 💍 👰🏼 🤵🏻

Unfortunately, in 10 weeks time HRB will no longer cease to exist!! But hold your horses ladies and gents, before you shoot off frantically trying to find someone to replace me.

Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere! I'm just going to be HRP instead.

This handy little machine really saved the day yesterday with this fiery little red head 🔥

She said 'NOPE' when I tried clipping her with my regular clippers yesterday. She would not tolerate them and was never going to tolerate them. She wasn't nervous at all, she just did not want to be clipped.

For a moment I stood and watched as she bucking bronco'd and thought 'how the hell am I going to get this clip done now'...In comes the harmony plus to the rescue.

At first I tried with the wide blade but she still had a lot to say about it so I switched to the narrower blade and, although still fuming, she was a lot more tolerant.

Having a wide variety of blades and machines is so so so important and without it I wouldn't have been able to get this little lady done.

Her clip isn't perfect and it was never going to be. As aesthetically pleasing as it is to have 'the perfect clip' it's important to remember that clipping serves a purpose which isn't just to make your horse look pretty.

Clipping is done to help minimise sweating and help the horse dry and cool off more effectively which I think a lot of people forget.

Safety is my main priority when it comes to clipping your horses - for me, you and your horse . I could have easily carried on touching up Rosie's clip to make is absolutely perfect but in doing so I would have been risking my own safety as well as hers so instead I got the job done as efficiently as possible and we both walked away injury free.

Hair grows back... my teeth don't and I'd really like to get married next year with a full set of pearly whites😁. We have to remember it's not the end of the world if the legs lines or face or stifle aren't perfect as long as the clip is doing its intended job then it is a perfect clip 👏🏼

Does anyone know of any DIY livery yards with 2 stables available?

1 horse & 1 pony, both very very well behaved. Ideally with an arena and good hacking. Individual turnout is preferred so a close eye can be kept on their diet. Close to ST7 if possible
