We would like to say thank you to the team from Aitchison Rafferty who joined us yesterday on our corporate volunteer day. They helped the staff with deep cleaning the kennels, exercising the dogs, helping with the laundry and other jobs around site. We are very grateful for your help and we hope you enjoyed the day.

We had a great day at Henley Country Craft Show at Stonor Park yesterday. Here are some pics, as you can see we had personalised items for sale too. We are there again today, Sunday and Monday so please come and say hello.

We have worked really hard setting up today ready for tomorrow at Henley Country Craft Show at Stonor Park. We will be there in marquee g for the whole bank holiday. Do come and see the beautiful items that our volunteers have been making and hopefully you will walk away with a bag full.

Thank you to the team from Babcock International who joined us yesterday on our corporate volunteer day. They assisted the staff with the deep clean of the kennels, exercising the dogs and helping out where needed. Thank you so much for your help and we hope you enjoyed the day.

Here is a story about four very poorly puppies abandoned on the side of a road. Luckily they were bought into us and with lots of care and defeating a 90 percent chance of fatality for poor little Dash, all four have left for their forever homes. Patsy our elderly terrier is excited for our Spring Fair (18 May) however we need some more auction items to raise more funds for her and her friends and to keep her in the way in which she deserves. Thame Country Show

We had a great bank holiday weekend at the Thame Country Show. Our very own Freddie winning Best Rescue and Penny aka Ivy coming in fourth. We also met more of our ex SDR dogs, Ralph aka Alan and Winston, both beautiful. We sell lots of things on our stand including fancy dress which enabled a win in the Best Fancy Dress group, dog toys (which were a hit with the dogs, often helping themselves) and collars etc as you can see beautifully modelled in the pics. Thank you to our volunteers, Pauline, Ruth and Sue. We could not do these shows without you. We do lots of fetes during the spring/summer so do come and visit us. Our next is the Bucks Country Show in Penn 5/6 May, then of course our own fair on 18 May at the Rescue.

We are looking for stall holders for our Spring Fair on 18 May 2024. Are you a crafter, seller, trader? We are looking for stalls to make our Spring Fair special. If you would like to join us at our fair contact [email protected] or messenger us. A 3mx3m pitch costs £30 and all proceeds go towards caring for our beautiful dogs.

The Winning ticket for the Valentines Hamper was 712. Sheena is our winner. The raffle raised over £140, thank you everyone for your support.

Our generous supporters Softcat have been busy raising money for us once again. Just before Christmas they held a Bring Your Dog to Work Day, it was good fun with lots of wags and cuddles.

Thank you to all the lovely clients Claire's Comfy Canines Ltd for giving us shoeboxes filled with goodies for our dogs. This is only a small amount of what they produced. Our dogs were kept happy and fulfilled during our shut down because of your generosity.
