Why not purchase some lovely free range eggs from our happy hungry hens when you visit the cattery. Or if you are in the area pop in (during cattery hours). At £1.50 a half dozen they are eggstremly good value. 🐔🐓

Urgently looking for a new 🏠
Wilfred, 6yo
Wilf has a kind gentle nature. He might be a little timid at the beginning whilst getting used to new environment/people, albeit once he knows he is safe he loves cuddles, stroking and love.
He is great with children but not so good with dogs (depending on the breed, but generally doesn’t like being chased).
He does go outdoor from time to time but he never goes far and either stays in the garden or neighbours garden.
Up to date vaccinations and he is neutered.
Health check done he’s a healthy boy.
Rehoming asap as he’s now lost his brother recently who was a protective cat, so now he needs a new caring home with no dogs and cat loving owner/owners

We need to make all our customers aware that due to all our incredible hard work over the last year the government have decided to penalise us some more 🙄 and unfortunately we have had to register for VAT😖.
As of the 1st April all invoices will be subject to the addition of the standard VAT rate of 20%.
We are incredibly sad to have to do this but we have no choice if we want to keep running! 😞 Obviously there will be no price increase this year due to this situation.
We just hope that this won't stop our loyal customers from taking their holidays with us😺

Beautifully, friendly female, (approx 4-6 years old) found in West Buckland.
Been shut in a shed for 2 weeks.
No injuries, just abit hungry and wanting lots of cuddles.
No id chip. All safe and now with a full belly at Mount Vets.

Unfortunately from 2024 we will not be accepting Diabetic cats during our busy periods. Busy periods are April 1st until September 30th. 21st December until 1st January. We are so sorry to do this to our Clients but the extra strain it puts on us in an already crazy busy day is unsustainable. All bookings already made will be upheld.

This is not the kind of post we ever thought we would need to write on our page, as we like to keep it informative and light hearted. But after the last few weeks we feel we need to get something off our chests, and inform you of some changes we will be making as a consequence.
We have built this business up on trust over the years, and have a very loyal client base. You trust us with your precious cats, and we trust you will keep your bookings and pay on collection. We trust that you understand that if you cancel your booking the day before, you can't expect to not have to pay for it. The same as if you booked a hotel room. In actual fact we only charge 75% cancellation fee, whereas many other business charge the full 100%.
As a result of refusals to pay we will be asking that everyone who books their cat in, reads, understands and acknowledges our cancellation policy. We will also be taking deposits in the future, which is something we didn't want to have to do.

I hope you will understand our decisions because as a small seasonal business, in our busiest time of year, we cannot afford to have units sitting empty. Sorry for the rant, it's been a frustrating few weeks.
