Boarding Tariff

£12 per cat per day
£17 per day for two cats sharing
£22 per day for three cats sharing
£27 per day for four cats sharing
£32 per day for five cats sharing
£37 per day for six cats sharing

Cats sharing must be from the same household

A full day’s board is charged for the days of arrival and departure. Payment for boarding (cash or card ) must be made at the time of your cats’ collection.

MISSSING IN WYMONDHAM

UPDATE: Back home! So pleased.

This lovely 3yr old boy is Bertie. He has been missing since yesterday, in the Chapel Lane & Barnham Broom Road area in Wymondham. He is a lovely friendly boy and this is totally out of character for him. He is neutered and microchipped.

Please can you keep a look out for him and check sheds, outbuildings etc.

All the usual has been done.....posters, door to door etc.

If you do spot him please let us know.

Cat rescues across the UK are struggling and at breaking point.
Kittens are being reported literally by the dozen on a daily basis in gardens, in factories and warehouses, on road sides, in car parks, on farms, everywhere cats can find a source of food.
Cats are being relinquished, abandoned and going stray faster than we could ever hope to find homes.

Something needs to change.

The expectation that rescues will be able to help every cat and kitten instantly is now so unrealistic it hurts. On behalf of the cats we can't help, we are at the point of begging. Please, please, please help.

Whilst we might have nagged on about neutering for years and years, we know we're often preaching to the converted. We know your cats are neutered, microchipped and cared for as the family members they are. But not every pet owner is you.

There's no excuse not to neuter, yet we're bearing witness to a cat crisis because not enough people are getting their cats neutered.

A lovely story for the weekend. ❤️

A few little cheers for Little Cat please 😻

Little Cat has a long complicated story but the important bit is she had a reprieve from being put to sleep last week. She needs more support with health issues and was struggling in her outdoor life so we have taken her in to try to give her a suitably happy retirement.

As a 15 year old who had never lived indoors and never been stroked or held before we knew she would take some understanding but what a fabulous lady she is ❤️

Within the last week her achievements have been enormous, going to have to list them for you so you can be as proud of her as we are....
🏅worked with us to master her litter tray
🏅learnt to take roast chicken from our fingers
🏅eaten every breakfast, lunch and tea
🏅tolerated all her medications and injections
🏅slept soundly in the warm
🏅been stroked and enjoyed it
🏅had her first pick up for a weight check
🏅gained a whopping 255g
🏅purred lots
🏅won hearts

Found (or rather just moved into someone's house!) in Kenninghall, Norfolk NR16.

Could have accidentally hitchhiked from further afield as circulating his photo locally hasn't found his people.

Large tabby and white neutered male with distinctive ginger splodge to left of his nosey.

Not microchipped.

As the time of year is upon us and we start the festive shopping. The awful pet Christmas line is in all the shops... Please don’t get these for your pets this Christmas, as you can see this is rawhide and it has been artificially dyed red and green and glued into different shapes.

The vast majority of these rawhide products and treats come from China.
Their journey starts with the hides being soaked in a toxic sodium sulphide to remove the hair and fat. More chemicals are used in order to split the hide into layers which is then washed with hydrogen peroxide to give the white "pure" look and remove the rancid smell.
Now comes the pretty festive colours and the glue to form cute shapes.
They regularly cause intestinal blockages and choking. The chews go slippery when wet and are near impossible to get hold of to save a choking dog.

Please be safe this Christmas and pick a much nicer alternative for your pooches♥️

Poppy needs a new home

UPDATE ----- Poppy rehomed and is now in her forever home. Many thanks for all the enquiries. This is a short video of Poppy ( 6 Year Old Female Tabby - Neutered) who is currently staying with us. Unfortunately her owner passed away recently and we are assisting in fiunding a new home for Poppy. As you can see from the video she is a lovely gentle loving cat. She is fully vaccinated and looking for her new forever home. If you can help please get in touch but please share this video so we can get Poppy homed before Christmas. We will of course be making sure if anyone suitable comes forward the adoption will be done via one of our local cat resue homes so Poppy ends up in the right home.
