Got a bit more painting done on the bench seat at last. Still lots to do - this took me 2 hours and it's still only half done!! Need to do some outlining on the d&m field rental painted on the side of the shelter to tidy it up. Just really grateful for all this sunshine at last so I can get it done 👍✅

Rules are never fun, but within our terms and conditions we have a few rules that are there for good reason:-

1. Pick up your dog's 💩 and take with u. No one likes to step in it ✔️
2. Don't leave toys/balls in the field when u leave as the next people in after u may have dogs that will fight over them ✔️
3. Have fun, fun and more fun 😊✔️

A dog's sense of smell is not only incredibley powerful but an important part of their life. To be able to enjoy nature can calm or stimulate your dog depending on what they are smelling!

Snuffle mats are one way to get them to work at sniffing out treats, but also planting some dog friendly herbs and plants in your garden is also a good way to get them interested in breathing in scents that can stimulate their brain.

If they are feeling unwell, lavender, chamomile and mint are scents they can breathe in and may cause relief.

Just had this lovely feedback from Becks, who uses our field (but cant get this on the review page)

I have been taking my dogs here now for a few months,we absolutely love coming to this field. 2 of mine are reactive so it makes my life so much easier knowing there is a safe and secure place to bring them without worrying about triggers. It Does have running water which also is great as it can be a pain to bring enough water for 3 dogs who are running around off lead in the heat. It’s not hard to find or get to which is nice, there’s 3 gates upon arrival so it’s really secured, no chance of your pooch getting out.
It’s also really easy to book, no hassle at all. Donna is really helpful and friendly, she is also quick with responding to questions you have.
