This goes to all my friends worldwide. Please make sure to sign the petition. Our local mayor and Forrest department are trying to shut down the only place with volunteers that actually help the cats of our island.

Our government is always absent,never helps with the cats or castrating and do nothing for them. It all depends on Kalithea cats,funded privately,and us animals lovers to pay for everything. Ourselves to help the cats we find,and strays.

And now they want to close down the only place that helps them.

Please share everywhere,and make sure to write letters to the mayor @ [email protected] with the subject of "Kalithea cats,koliadis mayor" to make sure we all fight for our cats and strays.

'Hera' named after my kittens that died,in honour of them is constantly waiting for the AC to come on. she is obsessed with the AC and likes to sit underneath it thinking if she does that it will eventually come one.

If you wish to help me help my Rescues as I have quite a few that live outside near my home and some inside and always need meds and flea treatments cause they are outside more often, and new ones in the area also need to be neutered.

This cat was out in the streets and pregnant. I took her tk the vet with the help of someone else as I don't have a scooter anymore. She is now neutered and will be going to her new home in a few days. I can't keep her too. I named her princess,as she is one.

We named her Mia. After a few locals asked for someone to catch this cat (as most people here expect others to do their job as an animal lover), I caught him/her and took the poor cat to the vet to help get better. I knew that if he stays alive he will need special care and most likely end up with me anyway as there are very few people that will actually take one.the vet called w bad news saying he has advanced cancer. It would not make a difference if we found him earlier,he would still die. We made the decision to relieve the cat from his suffering and had to put mia to sleep yesterday. The only thing I heard from her was sokme voices answering back to me when I talked to her comforting her. I did not have much time with her,but u share her pain and only I know what she has even through cause I am the one to have managed to share even a few of her last moments with her,and now I got to bury her. So far counting from the beginning of the year,about 18 animals I had to bury. Hoping there will nto be any more. Unless someone deals with this on a daily basis they can't understand my pain and all I feel,so please spare me and leave me alone.

Pandora,mommy will always love you no matter what. I still miss you and think of you 💔

About two years ago, a friend approached me to go and bring to my home this beautiful Calico cat "Pandora" that you can only find in dreams,with an amazing personality,along with her half-brother- a white kitten now known as "Adonis" with blue eyes that is dead,her sister "Channel"- an aegean type of cat,and the mom -"Madame Figaro".My friend'S friend promised to pay for their food and litter and castrations when the moment came as the brother of the deaf boy was already ran over by a car.

I asked them to take them to the vet to test them for any illnesses that might be contagious to my own cats. They did not bother. With time Pandora got sicker and
at that time the vet i used to go to,did not help to make her better and she died in my own home in the company of her brothers and sisters. My dog Phantom was crying for her trying to revive her as he always does with his family. She was special and to me a one of a kind cat I will never again have. I am devastated,I named one of two new kittens found last year in an abandoned pool after her also "Pandora".I miss her so much and wish she was still here. My heart is still crying for all the souls I have lost whilst trying to save them from whatever they had. We suspect some sort of cat corona virus that caused also neurological issues.

Charlie,Chaplin,and Mowgli playing by trying to catch the toy I had in my hand. Charlie was found by the street begging for scraps of food from tourists at a local restaurant,while Chaplin was found last summer trapped in an empty pool with her sister Pandora and if I hadn't gotten them they would die from the rain that came that night. Mowgli,is the whilst one of all my kittens and cats who had parvovirus,and giardia and survived them both even though most of her siblings died. Who says cats can't be trained?? She is so trainable and so clever.... Teaching Facey my beautiful rescue angel how to scratch at the right place when she was younger on command. My angel,my big love,my reason I fell in love with cats also - Facey who follows me everywhere and is a cat with the attitude of a dog. She has made everyone who meets her fall in love with her,but she is only loyal to me,she wants no one else coming near her,she is a mommy's girl and always will be!!! When she was a kitten she used to come sleep near my dog kennel with her sister in a cave I made for them. One day she saw her sister who they were close to each other die as she got into the engine of a car. Since then I have been protecting her from other cats and animals and humans and she is always near me and comes to me for help no matter what. Phantom,my OCD dog, often goes into a tantrum if he can't have his way. He loves his garden and does not want anyone messing with it but him. So when he goes out and with his feet keeps moving the gravel and becomes covered in mood because it has been raining,I have to go tidy up so he doesn't get muddy as he is sensitive and gets itchy easily,and he freaks out because he does not want me to move anything in his garden,kind of an OCD dog with his area. But it's hilarious how he takes it out on his food bowl and anything he finds in front of him,or even tries to chew the metal bits on the door to get out. Here is Camelia (my cat that has very strong maternal instinct-even though she is neutered) looking after about 15 kittens of different ages at a time. She would protect them against my dog in the beginning as if they were her own. With time she got to trust Phantom. However,the kittens are now bigger and still think of her as their mom,especially the boys. Some lost their mom when young, others were found abandoned from human idiots.But in my home we are all a family no matter where they came from!!! Meet Narnia,one of my fav rescues. She used to live in the street,was terrified and still is of people going near her. She had a mate and kittens,they took them and left her in the street.she now is a queen at home after months of effort to get her trust to come near me.She still keeps a distance but now she trusts me enough to keep her safe. Now for the first time after almost two years she allowed me to touch her and pet her. It feels great to have won her trust after such a long time. This beautiful baby has Parvovirus and is fighting to survive. During the winter time it is a deadly disease that many kittens get when born in the street (stray ones mostly) and usually die in the street with no one to care for them. I already have witnessed five deaths of kittens in a month and it's so sad. I am still trying to help some left but the trouble is vets don't want to take any more in,they are full,and so they either die in people's homes or in the street. It is tragic. I worry she might not make the night,as no vet could take her and she is already struggling despite being on meds.
