Ovariohysterectomy ( removal of both ovaries & uterus in 9 month Labrador female dog - Nikki was performed under general anaesthesia as she was recently exhibited oestrus & post oestrus hormonal aggression . Since owner was not interested to breed her & considering health benefits of spaying operation it was done successfully today. You can see her both ovaries were swollen. Post closure of incision was very small around 2" size. There was no complication post anaesthesia ,nikki had no nausea & vomiting ,she started having food on the same day after vomition & was playful .
