Urgent funds needed- ₹10,000!

Our latest tiny rescued kitten! A small motherless abandoned kitten, with 2 ribs broken and her heart cavity exposed. She was abandoned all alone near khadki railway station.

We need funds for her treatment. We will post the X-ray soon. She may be small, but she has not lost hope & neither will we.

Urgent Funds needed ₹18,000 ‼️ Diwali is a joyous festival, but for animals, it's a curse.

This is another case where an animal ran in panic due to crackers in his own area and ended up getting badly injured.

His condition is very bad and he's on the brink of losing his back leg. So we need your support to make sure that this kid is physically and psychologically Ok.

Bindi is extremely sick, in a critical condition, with a swollen abdomen and nerve issues. Her white blood cell count is elevated, and we've had to use a catheter due to her inability to urinate.

It breaks our hearts to share that Barfi and Laddoo have crossed the rainbow bridge and joined our other babies up in heaven.

We want to take this moment to thank everyone who helped us provide 24x7 critical care to both our rescues who suffered so much but found love, peace and dignity with us. Laddoo's spine was broken to an extent that full body paralysis was inevitable and her lower body organs were crushed. Her liver rapidly failed and she passed away in her sleep. Barfi, our brave cancer warrior was undergoing chemotherapy but unfortunately with subsequent tests, it was evident that the cancer was spreading rapidly and his chances of survival were bleak.

Both kids have been laid to rest with our other kids and we are immensely grateful to all of you for helping us provide them the comfort they deserved in their last days and small lives.

Though wronged by some humans, they were loved and cared for by so many of you and our wonderful staff who are absolutely heartbroken over the loss of their beloved Laddoo and Barfi.
Rest In Peace babies...till we meet again.

This is how we spent World Environment Day, on 5th June! Our Environmental Expert Rosyna Gurung spent this weekend planting trees through a plantation drive and we are very happy to share few glimpes of a day well spent!

Our team is currently looking into the case of this rescued indie girl whose blood values are not the best and she has tick fever which has gone untreated for more than 10 days.

This is the Secretary of the Trust. This is also the human who has put in her entire heart in to ensuring the shelter always has space for one more needy animal. Tuhina Bhattacharya can talk about the kids at the shelter all day long and still have more to say. She also is the Chief Naming Officer for the kids and thats why some of the names are as silly as her goofy self.

Hello animal lovers and fellow patrons we have reached the 10000 followers mark and we could not be happier. A million thank you’s are not enough.

On this occasion we would like to share what goes behind the scene in rescuing an animal. There are innumerable intangible costs like like catchers transportation, sheltering, primary medical care, Ambulances to hospital and back, Hospital/surgery costs, Post operation care, Daily food and medications, Supplement etc

Other fixed costs like staff salaries, infrastructure, electricity and water, waste disposal and many many more.
They run into lakhs and lakhs per month.

With a heavy heart, we need to inform you that Kachori has crossed the rainbow bridge.

Our team and vets really tried our best, but her little body had gone through too much.

We are sad beyond words.

He is an oldie rescued by our team who has sadly been diagnosed with TVT which is a form of cancer.
We have currently started his chemo sessions and are hopeful that he will fight this and recover fully.

A sad update:

Bhringi, our brave cancer warrior fought his first round of cancer which was followed by an amputation. Things were looking good and he was improving but sadly his latest reports suggest otherwise. Bhringi's cancer has metastasized all over his body and he is in tremendous amount of pain. Do keep him in your prayers.

With your donations we were able to get Rani's tests expedited and the results are not the best.

Her blood value need to be better for her to go through surgery. We have started her on the course of treatment right away and hope that she gets better soon enough for her surgery which is a matter of urgency.

Birju is currently gaining some strength at our shelter & will then be put up for adoption!

Here’s Dudu, a year after being rescued. He was our first rescue and back then doctors told us he wouldnt live more than 6-7months.

But he lived a happy, long life and passed away in his sleep at the age of 15.

We are so grateful that he lived a long and happy life with us ♥️

Here’s Dudu, the day we rescued him!

Dude came with a brutal history of being abused by his breeder. He was beaten, kicked, tied up, starved, tasered and what not.

He lived a nightmare till he was 5 yrs old and then he chose us and changed our lives forever!
