Here is our weekly update from April 22nd to April 29th. We had 70 calls and treated many dogs on the road.

Summary:

- Number of dogs treated: 48
- Number of new dog cases: 12
- Number of follow-up cases: 36
- Number of dogs admitted to our vet office: 7 (Garden, Yangchen, Sherbu, Tony, Tsering, Khaire Boy, and Jacky)
- Number of dogs released: 0
- Number of dogs adopted: 0
- Number of foster dogs: 0
- Number of dogs that passed away: 0

- New dog admitted to the office:
- Khaire Boy - He got into an accident. His internal head is damaged. He received treatment under Paws and Pals. The doctor said that he is in a life and death situation. Please pray for him to stay strong in this difficult time. Tomorrow we have our butter lamp program for him, and we hope you all will also pray for his long life. 🐾🐶

- Tsering and Tony - they are now under the care of our vet technician. With good care, they are recovering soon. Due to your love and prayers, they are recovering soon.

- Number of calls we received this week: 70

This week we conducted our Saturday Health Camp for all the needy street dogs and we helped Jacky, Scooti, Tenzin, Molfin, Ale, and more.

Thanks also to all our volunteers for giving their time and coming all the way to help our doggies. You all are warmly welcome to participate in our next Saturday camp too. 💌

- New dog admitted to the office, Tony - He got into an accident. His hip hot dislocated. He is slowly recovering. The vet suggested complete rest. Please pray for him to stay strong in this difficult time.

- Narat - He was beaten up by a pedestrian and badly injured his ear. We found him in a very bad condition but now he has had his ear surgery. May the Buddhas bless him and May he heal fast.

- Tipa (Khairi) - She suffered from a tumor. The doctor told us that the tumor was cancerous. She has since undergone two operations to reduce pressure on her leg and belly. Please pray for 'Tipa' to help her with the struggles that she is currently going through.

- Kelsang - He was beaten by drunk people at night while guarding his territory. His eyes and tooth were fully injured. He had his eye surgery. May the Buddhas watch over him from a distance. Hope your prayers and well-wishes for him will help him guard his area once again.

- KhaireyBoy - He had an accident near the airport. According to the doctor, his head is damaged and he needs to be in the hospital. Please pray for him, as he is going to have surgery. May the Buddhas give him a long life.

- ⁠Tsering - She got into an accident and suddenly started bleeding. Her broken bone cut into her bladder. She had to undergo surgery. Please pray for her so that she stays strong in this difficult time.

This week we conducted our Saturday Health Camp for all the needy street dogs and we helped Doma, Pemba, Scooti, Tenzin, Molfin, and Ale.

We had several calls and treated many dogs on the road.

Summary:

-Number of dogs treated =27
-Number of new dog cases = 9
-Number of follow-up cases = 18
-Number of dogs admitted at our vet office = 5(Garden, Yangchen, Sherbu, Jacky and Tsering
-Number of dogs released = 0
-Number of dogs adopted = 0
-Number of foster dogs = 0
-Number of dogs that passed away =2(Kali and Tiger)

Kali, who suffered from distemper and had stopped eating. We treated her with procaben vitamin but couldn't make it. Rest in peace, Kali. 🙏💔❤️‍🩹
And Tiger, who suffered from mange. We treated him with Invermectin but couldn't make it. Rest in peace, Tiger.🙏💔❤️‍🩹
-New dog admitted in the office- 1(Tsering). She got into an accident. She is slowly recovering. The vet suggested for 6 weeks complete rest or else she could be paralysed for her whole life. Please pray for her so that she stays strong in this difficult time.
-Number of calls we got this month-55

We had to bring two dogs from the shelter, Jacky and Sherbu down to the office as the shelter has shrunken to half. Jacky has to undergo a blood test for his adoption.

This week we couldn't conduct our Saturday Health Camp for street babies due to Nepali New Year.

Thanks so much to Mr. Chan. He donated dog foods, dog treats, anti flea and tick treatment and vitamin supplies for our furr babies 🐾🙏. Thankyou for your kind donation. 🐾🙏

Help us find a forever home for this adorable pup Rejoice🐾❤️. She is 4 years old, fully vaccinated and spayed🐾🙏. This sweet pup deserves all the love and cuddles. She is very cuddly and loves attention. She also makes an excellent guard dog if you have a von g garden or yard. She will protect the house.
We brought her to our SDC shelter as she was suffering from overweight. We provided her with daily care and after months she gained a normal weight. She is now healthier and happier than ever.

Unfortunately, we're unable to conduct our free Saturday Health camp for our fur babies tomorrow due to the Nepali New Year. Our furry friends will get all the treatment and grooming next week. However we do treatments in our office at Boudha, Fulbari from Sunday.

This week we also did our weekly Saturday camp. We gave a bath to Diamond, Doma our office dogs and Tenzin who lives in the stupa. Two of the families brought dogs with skin problem and worms.

We currently have one dog under treatment, Seti. She got into an accident. She is slowly recovering. Please pray for her so that she stays strong in this difficult time.
We also treated Khaire with his legs injured but he sadly couldn't make it.

Sadly a dog passed away= Khaire, who had an accident and both of his legs got injured.

This is a dog we got a call for. He suffered from distemper virus and an old lady refused to treat him. But after we went there and treated him he can now run and is free from the disease🙏. It is worth to give our best to treat the dogs, and save them rather than leaving them to die without giving it a try. 🐾❤️
