This charming lady was wandering up the middle of Deacon rd this morning. She is microchipped but it isn’t registered. If this is your pup she is currently keeping us company at the clinic but probably wants to be back home 🏡

The Local Vet are sponsoring our Non-Graded Horse series awards for our Winter Dressage. The team are thrilled to have the opportunity to sponsor a local series, to support riders and our favourite local equestrian facility. Our staff and many of our clients regularly compete at or use Woodhill Sands so being able to give back means a lot to us. We wish all the riders and horses competing good luck and would like to acknowledge and thank all the judges and support people that make these days happen.

We have some short dated rabbit vaccines so are offering reduced vaccination rates this week.
$80 per rabbit for the newer Filavac vaccine that does all 3 strains of calcivirus

Thank you so much to all the generous people offering to foster and adopt this wee girl. So lovely to see so many caring people, however please be aware that we will be holding her for a minimum of 7 days to allow her owner to come forward. She is also severely underweight so we want to make sure she is happy and healthy before we look at finding a potential new home. She is making progress everyday and is starting to eat on her own 🥰

This sweet lady was found today on Robinson rd and is currently receiving some TLC at the clinic.
She isn’t microchipped and looks to be 4+ years old and possibly missing for some time.

A Farewell and some welcomes

As some of you may already know our wonderful Lizzie was offered an amazing opportunity and had to make the difficult decision to leave our team. We will all miss her smiling face and good humour. She will be sorely missed by us all but we are also so proud that she is going on to do great things and putting family first.

Replacing Lizzie is almost impossible but we have some new faces in the clinic that can’t wait to meet all our wonderful patients and clients. Please be sure to make them feel welcome at your next visit.

🥳 It's our birthday week! 🥳

We can't believe we've already been open for 1 year!

We've met over 550 friendly locals, almost 1000 of your much loved fur covered family members, and performed over 2300 surgeries, consults and procedures.

We feel so privileged to have been able to serve our wonderful community over the last year and we are looking forward to continuing to do so for many years to come.

Thank you to everyone for supporting us and welcoming us as part of the local community.

Bailey has been reunited with his family 🧡

** Found cat ** Barrett Rd/CRH highway area. Older gentleman with very distinctive ginger/apricot points. Possibly a ragdoll/tonkinese. He looks like he may have been missing for some time but is very friendly.

He may have a microchip that isn't scanning.

Someone will be missing this sweet boy

Well done for so many good answers!
Echo has an extreme case of Epuli. These are common benign overgrowths of gum. Boxers and bulldogs are particularly talented at growing epuli.

Due to increasing discomfort when eating and smelly breath we decided it was time to do a radical trim.
Under a general anaesthetic with ample pain relief we trimmed all the excess growth.
Echo has done a fantastic job of healing, smells better and has twice been caught helping herself to dinner!
