oh Bear you are 1 cheeky cat! lol
This has to be the most funny rescue ever in all my time! Makes for a nice change to be laughing our arses off instead of holding back tears!
Mr Bear escaped the familys vehicle on transmission gully over the weekend & we have managed to track him down in linden, tawa - transmission gully area thanks to the lovley people posting about his appearance suddenly at their home.
Bear litrally has all of us trying to capture him in fits as he prances around back n forth like an excited dog soon as we get near him.
He is clearly not ready to go home yet mum, he's having way to much of a ball! Hahahahaha
Hello Hello everyone, Laura here, I just wanted to take a minute (which atm is almost impossible to find) to appoligise to all those that have tried to contact us to meet our kittens recently. I have been dealing with the loss of my way to young mother who lost her brave fight to a rare cervical cancer mid March, although we knew she was a gift to have every day once she was diagnosed it still came as such a shock to lose her & needless to say this has & will continue to have a huge impact on my everyday life. My mum was one of the kindest most trustworthy woman I've had in my life (right up there with my super appeciated right hand gal Kelly) & I she will forever be missed & on my mind. :(
Things have been extremely busy here with Kelly being away sorting her self out for a big shift into a smaller new home & with many of our kitty's that were in Foster care having to come back to us as they approached risk of getting littermates pregnant whilest on the ever so long wait for desex appointments so it really has been hard times.
We have been let down this year sadly with some fosters & with recent closures of other rescues in the area, we have been all totally overrun. My mobile phone has taken a fall with me after i litrally collapsed with exaustion recently so it is very tempermental atm & litrally just waiting for it to be unusable before i can afford to replace it as every single cent has been put into feeding our current large tribe.
I want to ask that people please be patient with us as i assure you all, time is something in rescue we really struggle to have let alone throwing unexpected hurdles in ontop, we are litrally running on hope & dreams of the light at the end of the tunnel atm so please try to be considerate of what being involced in rescue life is really like for us. We dont want to say no to anyone, we want to be yes pepple for these kittys in need but unfortunatly its something we cant make as a promise at this point in time.but please kn
HELP! beautiful Mumma Meowmie needs a safe place to call home for just 16 days!
Mumma Meowmie cane to us with 3 beautiful kittens she gave birth to in finders backyard, her babies were just 8 weeks old at the time & little to our knowledge she was already pregnant with another 6 babies that soon followed. She has been adopted by family of the finders that just adore her but are unable to travel to collect her until the 28th of this month. Meowmie has had to be separated now from her recent litter (the wee floofs featured for naming in recent post) her milk has gone sour & she no longer caring for them. The babies are thriving now separated but where meowmie has been staying is no longer able to look after her as they are shifting house bow as we speak unfortunately.
If anyone has a safe indoor only home for neowmie to be happy in till her forever slaves arrive from up north to take her home she will be forever grateful & you will be spoilt with continuous cuddles of appreciation.
Today she is coming back to our hq & will unfortunately have to be created again to keep her separate from her babies there & until her desex appointment next week. This is not ideal at all & we know will make her a bit miserable
Please get intouch if you may be able to keep her shining. :)
I'm ready for adoption now!wippieee!!!

These absolutely gorgeous rugrats are Cameo mummas babies. Still seems like yesterday Kelly & I were helping their very scared -wildie mumma with spatulas n all with her extremely difficult birthing experience :( we are pleased to say Cameo Mumma has now been desexed , vaccinated & microchipped & settling back in to the place she was found, - the place she can now call home with the lovley man that originally found her. :)
This beautiful Cameo girl came to us as a pregnant stray on the 13th January this year, that's 56 days ago now... full term for a litter is around 63-65 days with some capable of holding off a bit longer should they feel the need to.
She is semi wild but been fed by a lovley man at the property where she came from for quite some time before he was able to capture her to put an end to it once & for all.
When she finally uncrosses her legs & has had & finished weaning her litter, she will be desexed, vaccinated & microchipped & going back to the man's home to carry out socializing there with a familiar face for her.
Every day we get people that have met her messaging us to ask if she has had her babies yet & to everyones surprise we have yet to be able to say yes. I often joke that she has her legs crossed tight on this pregnancy believed to be her 3rd or 4th litter, but definitely going to be her last!
This week I managed to capture her literally crossing her legs how I have joked she had been doing.
Fingers crossed her very active bowling ball tummy will be to big now to continue crossing them lol watch this space !:)
Wee Marley was brought into us recently at midnight by a lovley family that found him alone crying in the street. He is a tiny wee champion weighing only 330grams & has a special talent of making everyone he meets fall in love with him 💕💖 altho he only weighs what a healthy 2 week old would, we believe he is likley more like 4 weeks old as his ears , teeth & skills tell us very diffriently.
Here he is showing of his bowling skills lol
