Dearest Cruiser supporters,

It is with great sadness to let you know, Canine Cruisers will be shutting up shop on December the 22nd 2022.

I am so grateful that I got to do what I loved most over the past 4 years. It has been such an amazing experience working with so many dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities. I have given these dogs so much love and time and I will miss them all so deeply.

Thank you to every single one of you for supporting my business and my family. Thank you for trusting me with your furry family members. It has been great getting to know you all and I have made some great friends along the way ❤️

I have especially loved that I was there for my babies and able to presue my passion on the side. Now they are growing bigger and more independent I will be taking on a new adventure.

I have been given the most wonderful opportunity to work for an organization as a full time dog trainer. Another absolute dream job and I feel so lucky to have been chosen!

Last Thursday on the farm 🚜 🐕

All 12 dogs attended today. We had some cows visit us by suprise today.. so that was fun 🤣 The dogs initially barked from a distance but came away easily after being called. Good little dogs!

Neo must have known it was his last day as he gained an extra 15 mins avoiding boarding the van. He is my absolute best mate all day.. but has picked up all my routines for hometime and avoids me like the plague if I don't leash him before he realizes 🤣

Our last week at this beautiful farm!

We say goodbye to Ollie (goldy) today as he moves to his new daycare adventures. sad to see him go as he has a beautiful temperament. apart from his obsession to roll in cow pats then proceed to cuddle me today.😅🤦‍♀️

Everyone had a great day Maisie and Neo called it a day at 12pm.. they were tired little puppers! Everyone enjoyed the river, the walks, the fetches and socials interactions 🙂

The cuteness was extremely unbearable on Thursday (made me late for work.. sorry mini Monty). Had to get those cuddles in..

Mumma Bernie has finally returned from maternity leave and her 2 baby boys have reached 8 weeks old and are ready to go to their loving new homes on a local farm and up north to live their best lives. ❤️

Mumma girl Bernie was raring to go on Thursday and ditched her precious babes in an instant.. she has got those boys off the teat and regained her independence. She had an absolute blast and I'd expect will have been exhausted and happy to return to her little sons 💙

Canine Cruisers Services are Changing

The last day for rural daycare will be Friday 9th of Septemeber 2022.

Moving forward I will be transitioning into pack walking and small breed grooming. Rural Daycare will no longer be available after this date. My books for pack walking will be closed at this stage as I train my current dogs onto their new routine.

I also groom small breeds on Mondays in Lepperton. Feel free to book in via DM. 🥰🐕

After nearly 4 years of offering rural daycare this chapter of my business is closing. I have poured alot of love and time into this part of my business and I'm so sad it's time to stop. Unfortunately I don't own my own land so it has been tricky to keep the ball rolling. I would like to thank the amazing farmers offering their land for the last 4 years especially Kim and Lani ❤️ you guys have helped create many well rounded dogs who have learned to grow out of their anxieties,reactive behaviors and grow happy socialized puppies. Making our communities a safer, happier place and giving owners the gift of content happy dogs.

I look forward to our new adventures with these awesome dogs 🐕 ❤️

Warning - toxic milk powder

This may be a funny photo of a dog powdering their nose, or possibly giving their best Colombian druglord impersonation, but did you know that calf milk powder can be poisonous?!
Many calf milk replacers contain 'coccidiostats' which are there to aid control of coccidia (an intracellular parasite) in calves. The problem is that these coccidiostats are toxic to other animals including dogs, cats, sheep, goats, horses and other unintended species.
Symptoms may include weakness, wobbliness, or tremors and in severe cases death may result. Make sure you know the contents of your milk powder, keep it out of reach of other animals and only feed it to the intended species. If your dog or another pet ever gets into milk or milk powder containing coccidiostats call us at the clinic as soon as possible.

Thursday 🐕 🐾 These noisy babies off for their morning meander. Hunter is obsessed with maxy boy! And Maisie is obsessed with walking between my legs.. nearly tripped over her about 50x 🤣 A fun day for the kids ❤️

Tuesday Puppers 😊 Excited but muddy puppies! 🐕 they are loving their new mate Ollie ❤️

Thursday Group 🐕 Only half the class was present today but they still had so much fun checking out their big new area it was so warm and sunny. looking forward to the weather warming up! The dogs are now required to do a blood test before coming onto the farm. We are just waiting on a few more results and we will all be back together having fun again! Such a beautiful place to spend the day enjoying these awesome dogs 💗

Look at these perfect little children! This is the first time I have taken this group on a public walkway. These guys do not have their listening skills up as high as the other two groups but they made me quite proud today! 😅 As you can see I use dog leads very rarely with my groups, they are only used if it's for a safety reason by the road or behavioral issues etc.. (really hope this area is leash free 😵 I tried to look online and couldn't see anything.. please verify this if you know). I will begin with saying it went well.. but oh my it is mentally exhausting keeping ontop of them out in public with distractions we don't deal with on the farm. There was ALOT of reward based training going on. We came across some bikes and dogs on leads so a few good tests for the dogs. This walk is way busier then I remember! They completely ignored the bikes 👍 They were very eager to meet these new dogs being the social creatures they are. I know a group of dogs approaching can be a bit scary so I made sure to call my group back and give these other dogs their space. We walked back to the van and I secured the dogs..the owner of the other dogs came and knocked on my window... 😬 I did not know what she was going to say I was quite scared 😳 😂 She actually apologized to me saying she ruined our walk and told me I had good control. 🤗💗 so that was a relief! She was lovely. A hard but great day! We also spent an hour on our paddock zooming around for the first hour.. very busy and stimulating day for the pups. 🐶

Thursday Pups 🥰 Our little dogs dodged the rain on Thursday and enjoyed meandering around this farm for the very last time. I look forward to introducing them to our exciting new play area very soon! 🤩

Friday 🐾🐕 These good boys and girls enjoying some Friday fetch ❤️

Friday Dogs 🐕 💕 A bit of a messy pool party today. It's always fun to play fetch in the river! Although I do get extremely soaked with 10ish dogs shaking on me as they exit the water. I swear they do it on purpose! They get as close to me as possible and just drench me. The amount of water that comes off their coats is amazing. I can't even run away as all this water causes an epic mud slip and slide down the river bank. I may have slipped on my butt 1 or 2 times! It was always interesting turning up to pick my kids up from school and daycare looking like I'd been rolling in mud all day 😅 hence one of the reasons I now finish at 1. BUT YES we did have a really great day! The 2 new boys Reggie and Jasper are doing great. Reggie has fully relaxed no raised hackles today he know hes in safe hands👌. Baby Jasper has stopped flopping over everytime a dog runs in his direction. He is more then happy to run around and follow his new mate Millie 💗
