RIP Rambo 11/5/07 - 5/1/21
Sent my puppity pup to doggo heaven yesterday afternoon. He'd been ill the last few weeks & downhill last 4 days. You've been my best bud & had a bloody good life. Dad & I buried Rambo under the puriri tree & had a few rums to send ya off. You'll be missed 💙

A very sleepy K.O'd puppity...its been a week or so of codeine.... Rambo's spine, nerves & back leggies no good again 😥 He was 13 on 11th May 2020 so defo my old boy & done well living a great well-loved life. Keep him comfy & manage pain, carry him in & out of camper-truck & help for toilies. See if he has a 2nd come-back like earlier in the year during COVID lockdown. I think he's over done it getting up North.....too tempting for him with big open grassy spaces. So have to contain him while he rests & hopefully recovers. If he does recover for a while, he'll become a harness & lead only dog which he won't be used to. But I've never believed the "cant teach an old dog new tricks" adage 🥰 💜

Rambo managed a walk & paddle at the beach yesterday evening followed by a quick wash and blow dry 🤣 He's pretty quiet today tho resting & not standing as well.... so stubborn & just wanted to keep going he loves the beach! There & back in the pram tho so gave a few smiles & laughs to peeps out & about. That face asking for pats now...you've still got those chocolate box eyes my pups 🥰😍

Pupsicle couldn't walk much today but I had some good exercise. Rambo managed a wee walk on the green then a quick paddle in the creek 😊

Wibbly wobbly Rambo pups going walkies yesterday. Took him down in a pram a great guy found on the side of the road 🤣 He loved getting out to lay on the grass and have lots of sniffies! Was a bit sore afterwards but quite settled after his codeine for the day. He's been pretty good the past few days considering he's on his last legs....literally...bless his cotton socks 🥰💜

Mummy enjoying some sun & fresh air with my best mate old puppity Rambo. He will be 13 on 11th May 2020. Let's see if he holds on in comfort till then 💜 He seems a wee bit more settled know he knows he cant get round much on 2 legs, he knows I know hes in pain & can help him 🥰

"This is my friend Courtney and her dog, Tonka. Courtney is a rock star that advocates for animals (rescue, adopt, no puppy mills- check out PMAD Austin), and is part of a Great Dane rescue (she has three Danes), and helps with puppy mill raids with the SPCA. Tonka recently visited my special ed classroom and does the Bow Wow Reading Program for elementary school kids. I'm so proud of both them for continuing to spread the love!

Poor pup pup Rambo was really unwell last week....thankfully after a visit to the vet on Wednesday he came right as rain by Sunday. Back to his old self now after some crook tummy troubles!
